I am a self proclaimed fujoshi. But my definition of fujoshi is the Japanese version. That a fujoshi is just a woman who enjoys M/M stories. This whole "fujoshi's are terrible people who fetishize gay men" is an American concept. Yes, of course there are bad fujoshis who give the rest of us a bad name and reputation. But we are not all like that. ......
I don't think its anything to do with wanting to be a man or being a gay man (well not for everyone). Why do some straight men like watching/reading girl on girl action? I think it's just about seeing a gender you're attracted to having sex with someone else you're attracted to. I don't even think it always about putting yourself in that role (men)......
