I know his name 'Balzac' has had various forms of spelling already in the translations but every time I read it, my mind just goes 'ball sac'. That's it. That's what I always call him in my mind despite my efforts to try saying 'Balzac' or the other spelling of his name. I even tried to pronounce it in differently to at least deviate from what stuck to me.(≧∀≦)
I just can't take him seriously when my mind goes 'ball sac' when his name is mentioned.

Now this is a plot I'd definitely not drop.
Strong, independent FL
Cutie, warm, sparkly dadd-*ahem* dad
More focused on FL's development
No silly romance or children fighting over their 'crush', just a brief flash of the soon-to-be hottie ML(tho I can wait)
FL is focused on her goals
No cringy or big backstabbing against the child main(yet)
PLEASE SEND ME MOOOORREEEヾ(☆▽☆)

I nearly screamed after realizing what Clerivan meant

Guys, doesn't it mean that Florentia is more worthy than the other kids, to be in his class cause like, the explaination of their 'class' isn't to make them 'study', they do study but the most important part is how they are in class or how their brain works..... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ correct me if I'm wrong, no need to be harsh.

Basically, it is like this. To expand it further, any children in the family are given the chance to be tutored at a young age, and most of them started at 8 or 10, but Tia started at around 5 since her grandfather noticed her holding a complicated book that children usually had no interest in reading and suggested to Clerivan to start having Tia in class.
These classes are where Clerivan would observe the children, seeing, as a Lombardy, how they would apply to business settings and take opportunities when seeing one, as they are a business related family. So, yeah, technically, it is a test to see who is a worthy successor, and who would carry the Lombardy name proudly. You can easily see how Tia's grandpa favors her when he invites her over for dinners and gives her presents or requests her for tea while other kids don't seem to have the same chance, right? This is because Tia has shown on one more occassion how she takes pride as a Lombardy, like with the prince situation, and won't bow to anyone, knowing they can stand on their own without being threatened by royalty.
Her grandfather has already seen her as worthy when he noticed how talented people seem to flock to Tia, or that she gives opportunity to the right people, while Clerivan has noticed a few things but what really made him realize how clever Tia was is when Gallahan mentioned that he wouldn't know how to proceed if Tia hadn't mentioned going to Clerivan, and that had Clerivan thinking that Tia, a child who is less than 10 years old, have been indirectly involved in the family's business venture and has somehow influenced its success by her little comments? So, now, this is what happened. Hope you understand it, I had a lot of tangents there.( ̄∇ ̄")

Kwon is like an on and off switch...one moment he's like don't overthink my action and stuff, this is just a physical relationship, and then on the next, he's like you can't decide on your own, I decide whether to take your emotion on or not. Like dude! Really! Can't you be any more contradicting? Then, he's harsh one moment, then consoling on the other. He insists on a purely physical relationship but pillowtalks Yoon, and kisses him like a lober should during the afterglow of sex. Can't you decide just which you want? Yoon would be lik, I can't burden him and stuff then Kwon proceeds to have very confusing reactions.
He's blunt on the wrong side of things.

I quite like the flow of this. The FL didn't back down because she has 'limited powers, sources, connections, etc.', she just flat out fired them while not fearing the consequences as she has the power of a crown princess. She didn't go in a round about way like most stories I've read where they hesitate because the situation seems hopeless, or they could still use those trashy people or whatever.
I like the straightforward direction it started, with no more mistreatment from servants who have superiority complex and justifying their actions on the basis that someone lost their worth because of an ill-fated circumstance dumped on them which just frustrates me to no end. It could just move on to the actual people who matters in the story.
What favoritism are you talking about when you adults, apart from those who are on Tia's side, literally picks on a child because she shows more promise than your kids and is intelligent enough to catch the Head of your House's attention. It's your fault for rearing such rotten apples without telling them that actions have consequences and thinking the world is against them just because they got punished for what they did. What, did you assaulting your cousin just magically disappear in you mind that you think eveeything is their fault just because she defended herself or retaliated after you took the first hit? You think you didn't do anything wrong to warrant a punishment? You feel you have justice on your side and would seek righteous vengeance that you justified that it's 'their fault' you got punished because you actually did something bad?
Man, you're thinking and morals sure are screwed wrong. This is what happens to spoiled people who grew up thinking that everything should go their way, and if doesn't then everyone is against them.
