In her defense, I dont think she acted out. Furthermore it was a mental note. Im sure everyone had said something unkind to our mentors somewhere in our years. Plus, she made her homework perfect just to make the tutor happy. And followed his instructions to do the waltz and etiquette. The only reason she didnt do the work was because she was exhausted from the lessons. (As if yall had been stellar in your homework submission, especially if u are high school student doing something equivalent political science in the real world.)

I think it is Duke Travis that is regressing in character. There's nothing attractive about a man that acts like a smothering mother hen, slashing at anything that he thinks "displeases" Areum. I dont know how he found out but I doubt that Areum is the character that would go prattle to the duke like a spoilt child

How? It isn't as if she knows all that is going on. Or her tutors history with the Vampire? And one day...one day of being tired after extra lessons is all it takes for her tutor to lash out at her???

She seems to think something else is going on with him and she is right. The Vampire is threatening her tutor. Lashing out at her tutor because he doesn't understand the difference between discomfort and displeasure. And the tutor can't just tell her because they are being watched.

This is all on the duke. She is struggling to learn something new. And is a bit worried if she can learn it in time enough to not make a fool of herself at the formal event. Its like super normal shit. But because the Duke doesn't understand emotions he thinks that means she is displeased.

I Know he is not used to something like this either. It's new for him too. And u know he's making it super obvious to her that he likes her I don't know why is she still so clueless. When u go somewhere new in between people u don't know atleast for ur own sake u should try to understand other people's situations too. It will turn good for u in turn eventually.

U Know he's a vampire who have lived 100 times more years than her without being loved by anyone. He's not ur regular man. Can u even imagine what ur mindset will be when u live so many damn years without any friend, family or a lover( I don't think he ever had one).

No, it is super obvious to us that he likes her because we can see his inner thoughts. She just thinks that she's become a favorite pet of the vampire dude that kills people at the drop of a hat. She probably doesn't even see him as a full person(that is someone capable of falling in love and especially with a "mere" human) yet because she is still afraid of him.
