okay, I didn't expect the angst????? this is a very great storyline
I expected this to be more happy-go-lucky typa plot but I like how this is going
so, I see a lot of people here complaining about the MC's looks. It's actually hard for the artist to portray the MC's design without getting a lot of hate, that's why most of them just settle with the plain looking background character look with freckles.
But y'know, I don't know the novel so I'm just assuming that this plain freckle looking MC over here is just very ugly even though she looks just fine. Also as a reminder, the artist's art style also contributed into her looks.
I really liked the blue haired girl but yk, his childhood friend deserves something. She literally sacrificed something for ML and she's always been there since the beginning

I think that since she gave him that gem, and wrote a letter to his master, she will propose marriage to him, and because he took the gem he unknowingly agreed to marry her, so there will be a lil bit of back and forth with both ladies soon.
But I also like more his childhood friend, she was shown basically the same amount of time as the other one, but her character is more interesting, also her affection to mc is kinda more pure imo, the other one is more calculating, and she doesn't rly know his real character in comparison to Jemina.
But it's only my opinion, and my judgment might be clouded, since I like trunderes, and freckles on her face are a breath of fresh air, damn I also like redheads so yeah... I'm definitely biased xD
