I can see MC's action as being frustrating sometimes, but what do you suggest MC do instead?
He got a kid that's obv not human which he cant take anywhere. Even if his bro would help, at some point they'll encounter a problem with the child which they have no knowledge of. The father was taken away by someone who "knows" why something like that was happening and might have a solution or at least a way whatever the fudge that is (the only explanation he got, mind you). He never met anyone who the brother trusted so he could ask them instead(not even the guy that raised Chibi, since they never met). Besides, that goon of the older brother even had to point to MC the way where he could find chibi and even then mc couldnt find him. THAT WAS HOW HARD CHIBI WAS HIDDEN. Maybe MC could wait, but deym the baby wont. It was obv MC cant just raise it alone. And he doesnt even have that much option to choose from either. Note, he and ML did not even have a proper talk before parting ways.
To add, had MC been hostile from the beginning, do you think the older bro wont be hostile as well?? He'll for sure force the MC if he thinks he couldnt get to him easily.
If mc just started moving on on his own (w/o being brainwashed/hypnotized), I get the hate. But dude was clearly manipulated from the very beginning. I wont be surprised if the bro had always planned all this from the start, hence Chibi's agitation before. Clearly, even just a second of opening that MC showed to the older brother would be used as a way to get to him.
Direct all this hate to the older brother because he's clearly using MC's weakness to get to him jeez. Talk about manipulation.
