He got a kid that's obv not human which he cant take anywhere. Even if his bro would help, at some point they'll encounter a problem with the child which they have no knowledge of. The father was taken away by someone who "knows" why something like that was happening and might have a solution or at least a way whatever the fudge that is (the only explanation he got, mind you). He never met anyone who the brother trusted so he could ask them instead(not even the guy that raised Chibi, since they never met). Besides, that goon of the older brother even had to point to MC the way where he could find chibi and even then mc couldnt find him. THAT WAS HOW HARD CHIBI WAS HIDDEN. Maybe MC could wait, but deym the baby wont. It was obv MC cant just raise it alone. And he doesnt even have that much option to choose from either. Note, he and ML did not even have a proper talk before parting ways.
To add, had MC been hostile from the beginning, do you think the older bro wont be hostile as well?? He'll for sure force the MC if he thinks he couldnt get to him easily.
If mc just started moving on on his own (w/o being brainwashed/hypnotized), I get the hate. But dude was clearly manipulated from the very beginning. I wont be surprised if the bro had always planned all this from the start, hence Chibi's agitation before. Bruuh I know right!!! Like can't they get it in their thick head that Mc is a human against gods who have supernatural powers?!?! And to top it off he got kidnapped not once but twice against his will and he didn't even want to go cuz he kept thinking that Coro wouldn't like it. And with the baby being in danger cuz the father is gone and no one can give Mc the energy he always gets from Coro, if they are a mother they would understand how a mother can go into a panic if something even just a minor happens to their kid, so Mc had no choice at all on this matter, he tried to stay and wait for Coro but again he was being held captive in which the Mc doesn't know and was being manipulated on top for that. And to top it all and put salt on the wound, our Mc if left in the dark since the beginning, about his ancestors history and bout Coro's history in general, he knows bits and pieces but I doubt that'll even help him in the slightest.
