Might come back after it’s completed and read 10 chapters from the end. I feel like the Emperor will “let him go” but something happens when uke and his mom are on the road -again- and he will rush back to the Emperor’s side since she’s already shown he’s the self sacrificing type.
I swear if end game is having the Emperor almost die to force him to admit his feelings to uke -and then he gets better and then happy ending I might throw my phone lol I can’t do another Paper Flower
I can actually FEEL the loss coming. With 36 chapters, the cliff hanger season finale has to be coming up. My gut says it’s going to end on him losing and then being an extra POS to doc and then something happens to doc at the final scene. It’d be the perfect cliffhanger

… Why can’t the Emperor just say he is in love with him? That would pretty much fix all the miscommunication. It won’t erase the trauma, but at least be truthful
