Someone commented below that they thought there was a one shot but even they were not sure. It's sad that there is nothing more. It's not the fact that it didn't end with Natsume recovering his sight; it's the fact that his lover wonders "will I be dragged into darkness with him?" and that leaves a feeling of uneasiness. It doesn't satisfy as a happy ending because it hints at something going wrong. If it had been a simple ending with them in each other's arms, in a normal setting, it would be fine, because I think the story was hinting at Natsume recovering his sight because he could see lights and shadows.
He goes into full on make out mode, taking their shirts off, then keeps pushing Shoutarou away. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't like a real scene hinting at a resolution of it. Or a better makeout session at least.
The story had me so anxious, I was almost glad when I reached the end! It was so sad that no one could be honest except for one little kid, but that's real life for you. Adults are restricted by society. I was a bit disappointed by the little amount of romance but it's not that big of a deal. That said, I swear they're having sex when they go drink at Hoshino's home. Highly censored but it seemed that way to me. Who else agrees?
It says "Volume 6" is coming out so... I'm confused. It just felt too open-ended for me, though that's better than a tragic ending. Contrary to what others think, I see them as lovers, it's just their relationship is still developing and Shirotani is still learning to express his own feelings. There is still so much unresolved, though... it would have been nice to have Kurose meet his old neighbor again so he could see how he impacted Kurose's life.
In addition to more about Nishigawa I'd also wanna see what happened with Shirotani's father, he called the father, but it seems horribly unresolved.
True, I assume they're getting along but there wasn't much info about that. Honestly, Shirotani's story alone would have added some very interesting chapters.

I love that Toshiyuki didn't take forever to figure out what his feelings for Jun were. I kinda wish there had been even more to these stories, because I fell in love with how cute Jun and Toshiyuki were when being all lovey dovey!
I can't imagine going on with an unrequited love for 4 years. A slight infatuation, just liking someone, yes. But love? My heart was hurting for Mio but also for Yugi. I wish there had been a few additional scenes showing us how Yugi and Mio came to live together (it seems like it) and/or how Yugi's feelings for Mio progressed: when did he start seeing Mio as more than a kid who went to his house? and so on. The last part with the meteor shower was beautiful too. It almost makes me wanna cry!

Well you can't fully blame him. He was abandoned all his life and when you're abandoned all your life you have a lot of trust issues with people and even yourself. Tbh, all that matters is that at least he eventually lived up to his demons and went back to be a better parent for Byul.
That’s not the same at all. He wanted to abort in the first place, as Byul was a product of rape, but Dojin wouldn’t let him do so. He had every right to leave Byul to Dojin, and never pretended to be a parent to him before he left. His mom raised him for years and then left him to a negligent father because she found a dude who didn’t know she had a child. Clearly not the same situation.

Hyesung panicked because he thought he was going to be abandoned by dojin after giving birth. He felt like he was going to be abandoned again. Heesoo was the one who told him that dojin only wanted the baby and helped him run away. All the blame always falls on hyesung even though heesoo and dojin were also at fault. Hyesung was raped and he didn't want to give birth to the baby. When he left the first time, it was because he was told that Dojin only wanted the baby. He knew then that Dojin was a good father UNLIKE his mother who knew that the father was abusive. Dojin WANTED Byul, Hyesung's father DIDN'T want him.
Hyesung left the baby with a father who wanted him and who he knew would take care of the baby. He knew that the baby would be in better hands, Hyesung literally has no money. On the other hand, his mother left him with an abusive father. THAT's the difference.

Did he rape him? I didn't knoe that. I read this webtoon last year so i might have forgotten some of the details. And yeah he did run because he thought he was going to throw him away. And no one said is the same situation because it isn't. And in one way he did go back for byul but also cuz it was the better way to have a good life which is cool. And that's just my opinion,. It is really interesting to know what other people think of this situation

Even when Hyesung was away he still worries for the baby. Ya know like he sees himself to the Byul during that time. Remember he sneak out because of some sort of the story he believes only to find out it was a lie. He was wounded emotionally haven't you heard postpartum like pretty common to pregy after birth. I always sees that as one of the reason he abandon Byul. Something you should see and should understand. I like how Dojin handle him during those time. They are meant for each other.
