Immoral things don’t have to be normalized in fiction they should remain in the corner of the internet with clear opinions of them being weird and criminal. And jsut bc yaoi started as immoral and bad mainly bc it was made by straight women bc they fetishized gays doesn’t mean it has to remain that way or be encouraged we can instead shame these authors so that they start making better stories.

Then just stop Reading yaoi. I have never normalized what happens there, I just say that it is a world when these kind of story exist and that everyone is aware of where they have put their feet. So What's Ur problem ?

My guy this isn’t jsut a yaoi issue people will always talk about the immorality of stories take the book Lolita for example. People read it and still talk about it. Are you gonna say “I don’t get why yall read it it’s fiction” like that’s not how it works. And again it’s not a “world of yaoi” you’re sounding like those fetishizing people these are stories that happen to have gay men as the main characters. The world of yaoi isn’t some fantasy where every immoral thing can happen and no one can say anything about it. This problem of weird grooming also exists in straight stories but you only ever see ppl like you saying “then stop reading yaoi this is jsut the world of yaoi” as if it’s some fictional concept only and doesn’t exist in real life on BL stories. Also the yaoi description is outdated and specifically now stands for stories made by straight women fetishizing gay men BL is the better term bc it’s separated from how the genre came to be

The seme literally didn't have any feelings for the uke when the uke was still a child. Like the seme saiid, he felt sympathy and urge to take care or to take responsibility for the uke because of the situation. It isn't grooming if what he felt was just a sense of responsibility for the uke, and it isn't grooming if the seme did not have malicious intents/sexual fantasies towards the uke when he was younger. When uke asked when did seme starts to think sexually of uke, he repiied that it was 1 year ago which is when the uke is 19 years old. For me, there isn't any grooming here, however, there is a pseudo-incest i'm not sure if that was the correct term but yeah there is a relationship between non-biological brothers 'cause I think uke was registered in their family registry causing him to also change his name.

If you find the manhwa disturbing, I suggest you drop it if you also thinks it affects or disturb your mental health. Everything is not for everyone.
