So it seems, but personally I like the ring of Daato and Ruado. Luard just sounds somehow not right to the ear. Besides it seems rather... humm.. silly, to change the names in chapter 9. Apologies, it's Daato for life for me!
For some reason this really didn't hit it home with me, maybe I just wasn't on the mood for this type tonight. It just felt empty and plot less. Bottom (can't even remember his name anymore) seemed to be working with very limited brain functions and the top felt like some make do- sadist you can find in local paper (you know those corny adds). Lacked feelings (just my opinion while reading), plenty of smut. I read it up to chapter 4 beginning and then gave up. 2 stars for now.. perhaps I'll try again another day.
It sort of bothers me that this is such a kiddie yaoi, especially because the seme is big and strong manly man. Every time things heat up.. it's.. faaadeee... nuthing happened, imagine it yourselves dirty bitches... YAWN. I mean! Not even lightsaber sex!
Another thing I have hard time getting over with is the stupid braindead look on Meilis face on every drawing lol. He has okish profile, but the full front face just looks totally retarded, I think it's the dead eyes and "blow up doll Barbie" lips that make the impression.
Story is okish. I'm not really big fan of webtoons to begin with, but it's a fun read with the freaky old tramp. Wonder when she will send a hitman after Meili!

Meili's "retarder character" was done on purpose. But we know that you expected many stereotypes about things like uke, seme or seke. I think that this webtoon's relationships give us more reality than the one's in "Rising a bat", "Blood Bank" or "Sugar Daddy" (was it?).

Paramour is listed as yaoi as well. There is plenty yaoi listed both as shounen ai and yaoi. And hypocrisy aside, it's very clear that Tian Hu and Meili have sexual relations. In this specific yaoi it just is faded out and some readers, like me, can find it immature or lacking. It has absolutely nothing to do with porn though. Perhaps it is done to attract younger readers to which the content would be inappropriate.
What else can you call Tian Hu than seme? What else can you say that Meili has absolutely no expressions? Be it part of the story, you can't expect everyone to like it or ppl not be allow to comment on it. :)

Few comments. For some reason the cross dressing part about japanese mangas annoys me to bits. I never find it cute, just bloody annoying. It is different thing if it's a transvestite story, but that f*cking annoying tramp "forcing" Misaki to cross dress was just so out of context and fugly grr grr grr pheeewww, got it out of system.
I liked the way Arikawa's mother took the news. I've been wondering this for a while now, but a lot of yaoi seems to lean on getting some tears out by painting the parents as monsters who will beat and kick their kids out for being gay. But aren't there already regions in Japan where gay marriage is legal? I understand there are more traditional cultures, but just been wondering aren't the attitudes there already changing more tolerant?

I don't know for sure, but I think because Japan's birth rate is so low, people are expected to marry and create a family more. Being gay means you are pretty much useless in the eyes of society in this case. Things are surely changing, but maybe slower, since the country is so attached to their traditions.
That or japanese girls just enjoy crossdressing (=・ω・=)
I'm sorry, but gay marriage is not recognized in Japan... yet. What you are thinking of is the fact that several districts in Tokyo recognize domestic partnership. This is limited to familial rights of inheritance and medical care only. In other words, two people who have committed to a domestic partnership for a set number of years can will their belongings to that partner after death and their partner has a right to visit and/or sign for responsibility if the partner is hospitalized. In the even that the partnership is dissolved, each partner is awarded half of the property, or they can split the property as they see fit if the dissolution is amicable.
Remember, things like adult adoption and domestic partnerships are not made or intended for use by same sex couples. They are simply used as loopholes by same sex couples to acquire benefits where they can. The average Joe in Japan is not going to be able to afford adult adoption and domestic partnerships only apply in certain districts. If you live, work become hospitalized or die outside your district, the contract is null and void.
Japan's government refuses to back LGBT groups for education and awareness and they refuse to consider anti-discrimination laws for anything except sex - ie discrimination against women. That includes sexual orientation, race and gender. Japan has a very conservative and traditional outlook regarding change. The status quo should never be upended. It took all out war to change Japan into a more economically Western country. Changing minds regarding homosexuality will be just as harrowing and difficult. Japan has been facing a serious birth and marriage rate drop over the last 20+ years and the government uses this as an excuse to keep LGBT groups from forming and raising awareness among the populace. Sadly, though homosexuality is recognized, it is only recognized as a fetish. No different than having a fetish for BDSM or cosplay. Acceptance of homosexuality as an intrinsic part of a person is still many decades away.

Such a captivating story and characters. I wasn't even looking for the H scenes because the story just glued me right in. Buuuut my mistake again for not checking the last update YEAR! Also reading other comments it seems that sadly this one has to be put to the yaoi x-files and let the imagination of the reader come up with the end. :(
Idk, to me that approx 8 pages is super short chapter and just wondering why..? Chapters were solid 20+ pages at start, now it just feels like you get to read one page and wait for 2 years for the second, bleh. Sour grapes here cuz can't take the suspense rofl.

I see there's a lot of discussion about the translation here and it's actually marked as completed because the scanalators won't release more? That's the gist I got. However, I'd love to read the rest. Anyone know where can one request Mika scans permission? Also wondering if it ever happens that another group takes over unfinished work as this and finishes it?
