it was a black cat female lead who was the assistant to a witch and recently the witch had brought in a golden retriever. The main plot is between the black cat and golden retriever, it was a straight webtoon
my guess is that latrasil died before in her past, prolly from drowning (a classic) and guesta being the fox mask is able to choose the lord and revived latrasil, turning her into the lord. the things that guesta had to sacrifice mightve been his innocence or humanity.
just a guess though
