At first I thought it would be an extra for the original storyline but it went so offtrack that it created an entirely new plotline. First of all how did they create a village with only a single gender if they have never interacted with the opposite sex?
Don't think too much.
Just allow your self to lol
"The sausage is angry!'-thus to appease the sausage, the peepee festival in Nihon began
Yea same artist as Zatch Bell, another shounen manga. The intro is pretty stereotypical, guessing this is gonna be another normal guy who gains shounen shapeshift powers and his best friend who introduces him to the world of the supernatural.
Gonna see how this develops further b4 stating how the manga's good or not.
So what happened exactly?
I think I understand a little of what happen in the end! Tho this is going to be super learnso prepare yourself.
Some parts are still missing (like how he beat the antagonist) but I think I understand how he got revive.
My guess is that Lee Rang made another wish, and the wish to return things to the way it was before he made his first wish (on his 18 birthday). The price for this wish was his existence. Whatever the wish was, he was able to travel to the past again. We know this for a fact because we see two Lee Rang in chapter one and the one that's running in a hurry in a red hoodie is wearing what we see Lee Rang wear in chapter 101. Later, in the epilogue (ch 103) we see someone talking about how Lee-Rang went missing. I think the person talking in the speech bubble is Yulbi and she meet the red hoodie version of him. We also know that because she mention that she remembers the last outfit she see him wearing was something different than what his grandpa saw him wearing last.
Since Lee-Rang wish to change things to the way it was before his 18 birthday, everyone is safe and alive but Lee-Rang's disappear because he sacrifice his life (his existence after he turn 18). But since Lee-Rang's disappears, everything that happen throughout the story so far vanishes as well. Lee-Rang entering high school, traveling to the past, making the wish (the best proof is that the rat and chicken were not friend in the current present until the chicken decided to help the rat out. That's proof that they didn't remember being friends in the past) is gone as well. So anyone he meet after his first wish would not remember him. Meaning Lee Rang's grandpa and childhood friend remembers him but doesn't remember that he save them and the world.
Now I shall elaborate how Lee Rang came back. In chapter 1, we see Lee Rang saving a child from those two delinquents. That child's name is Minho, at first glance he seems like the child of a Sparrow, however he is the owner of the Red Phoenix, one of the four great gods who disguise itself like a sparrow (similar to the white tiger being a cat). One day he was given a choice to make a wish. Maybe he wanted to say "thank you" to Lee Rang who save him from those two delinquent but somehow made the wish to bring Lee Rang back to life. And TA-DA!~ Lee Rang existed again!~ I guess with his existence returning, they started to remember him or something.
Also, if you're wondering when the Black Turtle consume the Red Phoenix, it was in chap 6.... (or somewhere there). Subil deliver chicken to a small boy and his friend but due to the storm, Subil and the boy took shelter at the lighthouse and both of them got eaten. that was Minho. So since Minho died with Subil, the black turtle gain Minho's power.
Yes, it was all over the place. I didn't even know who was talking in the epilogue. Didn't even realize that they forgot him and some of the chapters are still missing.
Also thought Sibol was owner of the pheonix because the black turtle mention that he reacted to the white tiger's power and coincidentally consume the red Phoenix (and then it show a pic of sibol getting eaten).
I get the feeling that there's so many temptations from every encounter for Ren there was so point in saying to watch out for today so the fortune telling was probably for Kyoko.
