i think the painting is her way of saying that regardless of everything, heinry is the man she will be buried with. she wants to be buried together and spend the rest of eternity with him. i also think that the peaceful scenery is to say that she is at peace with him when being laid to rest.
this may be an unpopular opinion, but i lowk think evan’s reaction is a bit much but lowk justified. idk it’s odd to me how she’s playing the victim and trying to downplay her actions as if she didn’t fake her death . someone DYING has significant emotional distress and to find out that your loved one just…. FAKED it? dawg, i would tweak the fuck out too! laria is so selfish and she isn’t even able to fully actualize her selfishness. GAH! it pisses me off.
