so the old dude starts fighting with chang-il then starts to rape him but yona suddenly throws a rock at the window and breaks in. he then stabs the old dude in the neck, then pulls out a gun and shoots him. the scene ends there. next, we see chang-il waking up in a (hospital?) bed and yona’s there. yona apologizes for being late. but chang-il thanks yona for saving him and they are both crying hugging eachother. (me and other readers are unsure if the old dude is dead tho, ch.39 will most likely reveal what happened to him)
i found this from looking at a enemies to lovers list and the cover caught my eye. im so glad i decided to read this because it’s so rare to find a manhwa that doesn’t annoy me. 10/10 would reread again
