Yup there is. But this is the BEST EVER romance in action I've ever seen. Like, the romance itself is so deeply incorporated in the plot, it actual kills. Like, honestly MC died so many times for it (big surprise, yea, I know, yup). Also, FL is extremely badass I would like for her to dump MC and marry me pleeeaaasseeee!!!!
The romance actually fits into the story plus idk if I’m explaining it right but the romance parts do truly feel like romance. Honestly for a second I forgot I was reading a action series, it’s not annoying it’s not there for no reason it has a purpose so I’d recommend trying it
When I see a glimpse of romance in action stories I immediately stop because I always thought it was a nuisance and unnecessary but… I have to say after reading 2000 manga or manhua or manhwa etc, this was the first time I have fully accepted romance in an action story and I have to say it is quite unexpected how refined and complex this has made the story itself, I would sad please read it. It’s rare finding gems like this nowadays and I bawled at how touching and meaningful the story is, even the romance itself gave a purpose and I will honestly say, it was beautiful. Please don’t stop reading.

Yuu isn't a shotacon. He sees Tsubaki as a little brother, if you can actually read his dialogue, Yuu just thinks Tsubaki is joking about his confession because kids have those childhood crushes and maybe Tsubaki is confused af about his feelings for Yuu because they're close since childhood. Yuu is kind hearted which is why he can't reject Tsubaki because he's afraid he might hurt his feelings. Before Tsubaki even confessed, it's crystal clear that he doesn't see Tsubaki like that but only acts out of pure kindness because Tsubaki is a CHILD! it's normal to think a child is cute because it reminds you of the good old days where you're small and free. I have siblings and cousins who are younger than me and there's a lot of kids in my school too but I treat them kindly, exactly similar to how Yuu treats Tsubaki on a daily basis. "Maybe I should just wait when he's older?" Yuu said that while thinking of how to reject Tsubaki in the recent chapters. The only reason Tsubaki is behaving like that is because of the influence of his hypersexual classmate but if that classmate didn't exist, we wouldn't have those sexual scenes at all.
