forgive me, this is just gonna be my personal lil ramblings about this. a shitty analysis if anything. you'll have to read on INKR to know half the stuff i'm talking about here
this will always be my favorite manga. it has decent DID rep (not perfect but decent), and the way shoto copes with trauma makes me feel seen af. i'm also obsessed with their dynamic- goro wants nothing more than to keep sho safe, and sho NEEDS to be safe. which i love that it sorta ties in with the DID (not multiple personalities or whatever, that's outdated and stigmatizing). i also HATE sho's dad, but i love that it shows the other side of the abuse. hurt people hurt people, and he genuinely does care for his family- he just fucken sucks at caring for his family. that doesn't make him a good person, he's still an abuser, but he's a really well fleshed-out character.
also both MCs are fine as fuck.
