this will always be my favorite manga. it has decent DID rep (not perfect but decent), and the way shoto copes with trauma makes me feel seen af. i'm also obsessed with their dynamic- goro wants nothing more than to keep sho safe, and sho NEEDS to be safe. which i love that it sorta ties in with the DID (not multiple personalities or whatever, that's outdated and stigmatizing). i also HATE sho's dad, but i love that it shows the other side of the abuse. hurt people hurt people, and he genuinely does care for his family- he just fucken sucks at caring for his family. that doesn't make him a good person, he's still an abuser, but he's a really well fleshed-out character.
also both MCs are fine as fuck.
don't use vaseline as lube. use a lubricant that's specifically designated for sex!

Not lame, Vaseline builds up bacteria and can cause infections, as it’s not a dissipating lubricant. Safe sex is 100% essential, please use water based lube when doing anything anal!!!(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Not everyone knows about how Vaseline isn’t a safe lube because it’s used so much in media, let’s be honest there’s 18- on here, who’re experimenting, so it’s not exactly aimed at kids in a bad way. i say the things i do like above because i really wish someone had given me accurate information about sex when i was younger. not to mention that people say "remember kids, x" as a general statement rather than directing it at ACTUAL children all the time. i think you might be taking the title too literally.
i have never in my entire life heard of a single sex ed teacher covering anything about gay sex or lube. ever. so saying "leave it to the sex ed teachers" is entirely redundant.
