when I ask myself why I'm reading this shit, I go to the comments and realize that I'm here only to yell at this crap along with everyone else. Jaekyung, you, the leather piece of meat, just stop already (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Yaoi is porn, hun, that’s why it was created—to separate it from other BL. This is porn, NOT a romance. Porn with romance in it is still porn. Porn can be abusive or sweet—but still this is porn. Judging porn for morals is not really sensical. Shounin Ai is romance and relationship based. Either way, this story is worth hating regardless. I mostly don’t like it for the year of plateauing plot.
I know? But it's tagged as romance and it's clear the 2 characters are developing feelings for each other and it being a huge plot point, hell the creator herself indicated that they are supposed to become a romantic item.
Like if it was just porn with romance sprinkled in I wouldn't give a single shit but it's the fact that the creator seems to be trying to make a romantic connection between these characters when honestly it is more akin to being a psychological abuse story lmao. I actually thought at first it was supposed to be a psychological story about abuse with a lot of porn at first but the more I read the more I noticed that not being the case
Also imo, if it's porn with an overarching romantic plot, morals can deffo still be discussed...
Firstly, yaoi can be different. If a work contains descriptions of sex scenes, this does not mean that it is low-grade porn, the characters of which exist only for the sake of sex. Yaoi often has a plot, character motivations, etc. Porn elements are just something that make story spicy, but not the meaning of the entire work. Secondly, year, I agree with you about plateauing plot. In the case of this work, I experience only negative emotions, but I have no interest in the characters themselves: they are flat and I still haven’t seen any significant development, although it’s already chapter 37, Karl! But I like to yell at JK in the comments, well, because you really want to beat the crap out of him, and from this point of view, the author is good at provoking emotions, so I can’t say that the manhwa is really that bad. But other than the desire to break JK’s face, I don’t feel anything yet.
Really like this. This is the first webtoon that so realistically shows the horrific situation of a child in a family that is experiencing the death of another child. And I really like how the situation of Jinha’s conflict with reality is revealed from a psychological point of view: everyone doesn’t give a damn about him, he feels loneliness and a discrepancy between his own feelings and the feelings and expectations of others, and in all this shit, the only light is Won, who obviously uses him for some purpose. But even feeling that Won is suspicious, he still doesn't want to accept this because of the strange obsession with this person and, again, loneliness. Won's motivation is also interesting, why the fuck is he doing this? And why did the older brother end up committing suicide? What relationship were they in? Oooooh, psychological manhwas are the best, and this one is really delicious ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
Why in comments so many "wat gainon wis jiwaan", as if ppl didn't read manhwa? Jiwon was emotionally unstable from the beginning. It was clear, that after all shit happened, he'd go crazy. I don't know, I love drama and psychos ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ Sweety-pinky stories don't my cup of tea, so I like it that way. Interesting, how the author will continue to develop the line and motivation of characters.
Sungho, what are you doing, man?!(╮°-°)╮┳━━┳( ╯ಥ益ಥ) ╯ ┻━━┻ 凸(`ロ´)凸
But seriously, Sungho has been living with these sick thoughts for years, of corse he can't get rid of them so fast. It's logical. But my kokoro is crying and wanting him to visit an exorcist, so that then he and Dohyun would can find a joint homosexual happiness (yeah, I still ship them, probably I need an exorcist too)
I wonder, what the end of the story do you expect? What do you guess?
P.S. I really want Dohyun to be with Sungho, I ship them as a crazy dog and I hope to see more passionate sex between them, but I don't think it will finish like that. I guess Sungho will not be able to let Dohyun go, but those two strange guys somehow will play a role in the liberation of Dohyun, but I don't see a way our sweet-bitter couple will be together (sorry for your bleeding eyes cuz of my English, I hope it's not too bad :3).
I think at some point, Sungho has to get what's coming to him. The bottom line is he's the bad guy here. Considering what he's doing to Dohyun, and the fact that Dohyun has yet to reciprocate feelings for him or even so much as develop Stockholm Syndrome, it would feel bizarre if this ended in the pair getting a happily ever after. Sungho might be able to gain Dohyun's (or the audience's) forgiveness in some self-sacrificing gesture toward Dohyun, and I could see it going that way... maybe or maybe not resulting in Sungho's death. But anything Sungho sacrifices himself to protect Dohyun from (basically, his mafia cohorts at this point) was Sungho's own fault for getting Dohyun involved with in the first place. Maybe Sungho will release Dohyun, and give him a load of money or something, and Dohyun will have more memory of what happened in high school, but even under those circumstances it's hard to imagine them getting in a consensual and happy relationship unless something seriously changes this season.
I agree. I would like them both to be happy at the end but I don't think that's going to happen. It doesn't seem like Sungho is stable enough to be able to have any relationship with Dohyun that doesn't involve imprisoning him, and Dohyun will always be unhappy if he's confined. Also, even if Dohyun might forgive him or start loving him, Sungho's still a violent criminal who has tortured for money. His behavior is childish but he's not an innocent child anymore. I don't think he can escape consequences to live a normal life.
Oh we we all know he would kill for Dohyun, but I won't say he's a killer yet without any evidence. Seems like his work is definitely tracking people down and roughing them up although I'm very hazy on specifics. Something that would disappoint his parents even more than skipping cram school to do shots of gin...
yea,i wouldn't call him a killer either,i don't think he has killed anyone.hurt some people? suuure.when he was threatening Dohyun with the knife,he said he didn't wanna do that to him because he had nothing to do with his work......which indicates his work definitely revolves around knifes and hurting people.
i dont know about him,but the debt collectors i have seen in other manhwas or K-dramas are very repulsive people, they use extreme and violent methods to get what they want.
although Sungho hasn't killed anyone,he did indeed ALMOST kill two people.Yangsu ( it didnt seem he would have stopped bashing his head if Joseph didn't interfere.aaaaand Dohyun.
poor Sungho's mother........she is better off dead at this point, rather than seeing his cutesy little boy like this.
Hmm, I guess we don't know for sure if Sungho has killed anyone, but I'd say there's a pretty high chance of it. He's a loan shark, or at least is the hired muscle for one, and probably tortures people for a living. I find it a little harder to imagine that he's never killed anyone than it is to assume he has. He was about to kill Yongsu easily enough - even if it were just for Dohyun's sake, but actually, Sungho didn't attack him until he tried to hit him again (when he was protecting Dohyun, his instinct was to protect Dohyun from the blow rather than throw the guy attacking him off of him, which he was more than capable of doing and it would've been way easier than letting his hand get impaled!). I think this Sungho is probably so cool-headed that he's generally emotionless, except when he snaps. I'm very curious how Sungho ended up like that.
I don’t understand why there is so much negativity towards the big brother. Why does everyone say that it was the eldest who did not want to talk? Are we even reading the same manhwa? At the very end, he continued the dialogue with the younger one, when he asked him “what are you going to do now.” Yes, he rudely hinted to the younger one that his plan to isolate him from those around him had failed this time, and...asked him afterwards “what was so important that you were going to tell me.” But the one who in the end did not continue the dialogue was the younger brother, who said the magic “let’s play,” because he was infuriated that the elder called Junghwi “hyung” and not just “sunbae.” ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ So...I don't understand what's going on in the comments at all. The elder should have been calm about the fact that his relationship was about to be destroyed AGAIN? Or what?
wooyeon provoked his psycho instinct otherwise they can just talk about it
Totally agreed! It's like those readers supporting the younger brother are basically saying, "you got raped because you asked for it!" Fuck off with this disgusting piece of shit seme!
So what! Ur stepbrother didn't like you and give you attention! Boo-fucking-hoo! And so you hypnotise & rape him to teach him a lesson! And let's not forget the hoards of readers cheering him so (╬ ̄皿 ̄)凸
