Or maybe it would be better to say annoyed. Moon owl why didn’t you tell her the TRUTH? I was feeling so bad that he couldn’t just go ahead and say, yeah it was me. Or something like this. I’m frustrated with the way misunderstandings happen between them. But also, I feel like Obsidian is pretty naive. She only needed Alexandrite telling her “hey that guy is using you and you’re not safe” to have huge doubts and believe him, not thinking that Alexandrite could also want to manipulate her. Moon Owl just literally poured his heart to her, explaining why he picked her, how he wanted to rescue her, in such a desperate way, that seem pretty hard to fake and she doesn’t even believe him. He’s telling her how he’ll take responsibility for her and assure her future, he risked his own position to get her on the show, but nah let’s believe Alexandrite. Please, I hope she takes the right decision in the future and that they finally clear up the misunderstandings and reveal who they are because I can’t take it anymore…

I’m not done with the story, I’m still in the middle of reading it, but I’ve been stricken by similarities between the two of them. Hence the plot of the daughter having the most powers being mistreated by her family, dying because of it and coming back and deciding to take revenge and change it all. However untouchable lady took a road that was frankly difficult to read and that was disappointing of an ending. So far this story is far more sensitive about things, the FL seems like she’s gonna accept help and not simply use the other guy, she discovers what it’s like to have someone by her side, in brief it feels for me so far that it takes the road of what untouchable lady should have been.

I Think some people in the comments forgot one thing, is that Ludwig’s mother was never meant to die. It was Ludwig who was targeted. Right from the start it was the cake for his birthday, that he was meant to eat. The king being apathetic and presented as not very smart, I’m not sure it’s him, although hypothetically he could have wanted to move his other lover and his other son to a better position. My guess was that it’s the uncle who wanted to kill Ludwig right from the start. As we saw with Ludwig’s mother, since she had him she was less concerned about power and she wanted him to be happy, even if she wasn’t the prince. In killing him, the uncle could stage that it was the king who had done this and motivate a rebellion where she’d climb to the queen position, and could make him the king as he loved her and wanted to be with her. Also he probably didn’t want Ludwig to exist as it was a reminder of how the woman he loved had chosen someone else. Unfortunately (or fortunately) Ludwig’s mother ate the poisoned cake and died in his place, so his uncle hated him for that, but decided to still use him and create hatred in him toward his family so he would agree to stage a coup and to become the crown prince, maybe even helping his uncle access to power with this. It’s only a theory tho.

Otherwise, I love this story! I like the plot of Natalia being able to see emotions and I like the relationship she constructs with Ludwig. It seems like it’s about to be a short story but it kept me entertained and enjoying it all along. Only negative point is an attempt of rape, that was stopped cause I would have dropped it had it happened.

The backstory seems to confirm that Moon Owl is the ML, as he’s the person Obsidian has been looking for, and you can see he has a lot of feelings about that past, just like her. I actually enjoy the fact we got to dive further in what was his past, where he was coming from, why the mask (and eventually why the hood as well). And I’m pretty relieved about that.
Maybe I’m the only one but I get weird vibes from Alexandrite, there’s something unsettling about him, like he’s trying to manipulate Obsidian for certain objectives, making her turn against Moon Owl and showing up as her “only ally” in all of this. But we never really get to see his real feelings and he somehow always seems to say whatever Obsidian wants to hear - to me it is a bit creepy and could be a clue about a deeper meaning behind his presence (trying to derail the game, unmask her as not Marianne, maybe he could be behind Marianne’s original disappearance, etc etc). It’s of course only hypothesis at this point but I’ll still be watching over him warily cause he’s suspicious to me.

One of the best of this genre I read lately. It’s really a warm and cozy story, that has still have some upheavals in it. It doesn’t have an immense amount of chapters but it’s easy to immerse into it and to read it fast. I would’ve maybe liked a few more epilogue chapters after their life together but nonetheless it was sweet and satisfying. Love, love it.

I have to say, I’m the first to usually drop stories when it’s siblings romance as end game, but this doesn’t feel like it for several reasons. The two of them are never really raised as siblings, it’s more of a them against the world if anything. The environnement in which they grow is everything but familial and they are here for each other but it’s never really family affection, due to the particularity of their environment. Dietrich never sees her as his little sister, he sees her first as someone intriguing, weird, then as someone precious, who becomes his only weakness, the only person that can actually understand him, after a life of loneliness, danger and constant wariness, where he had no one by his side.
Anissa, as someone who has been reincarnated, never really sees Dietrich as his brother either. She rather sees him for who he is, someone who has been mistreated, who never has received love properly, she’s horrified at it. Later she’s frustrated at how he’s been treated, he’s doing the right things, yet he’s seen as a villain. She first holds onto him like a lifeline. So the complain you could have about it is that she first sees this relationship as more of a way of survival, rather than an actual sibling or anything relationship.
To add to this, the two of them are not related at all. They’re not siblings, they don’t share a single drop of blood together.
Of course, I won’t tell you what you should do or not, but as someone who is usually disgusted at sibling romance trope and who wasn’t much disturbed by this one, I’d say you should probably read the story first and see how it makes you feel, rather than just judging it by the way people talk about it.

you're really right, I just think author kinda ruined that romance for me by dragging the first arc too much, like I saw too much of their childhood/growing up together with sibling dynamics so for me personally, I couldn't really see them as romantic partners after that if that makes sense

That is totally fair if you feel that way tbh! We all view their relationship differently. I just wanted to put that comment out here because I saw too many comments being about ew they’re siblings and getting married, so I thought I had to bring a nuanced point of view, so there could be at least one, by explaining how they haven’t viewed each other as siblings at all and aren’t blood related or anything. To me it feels more a childhood friends (and again, given the environment it was more a kind of allies for survival mood) than an actual siblings relationship, they’re not really related, she was reborn in that body and never considered him as her brother and he never considered her as sister either. I found it kinda sad when that story, even if it’s not my favorite, has quite a few nice points to it. I guess it’s okay as long as we don’t get judgmental of other people’s taste and try to police what they like, especially given that this work is not incest.

It was great, because you can see that the plot has been thought through and all, and it’s interesting in terms of mechanics. I like the relationship between our two main characters, but I found it sometimes hard to follow. It can be confusing and you need to be focused not to miss some parts. Phew. Overall it’s a good story, because of its originality, the dynamics, the drawings and all, but I can’t say it’s my favorite.
I feel like it has a few plot holes that are convenient, as time traveling is always something complicated to manipulate.

That story is a gem for me. Both in terms of drawing, backstory or character, it easily enters my top 5 for sure. I was really invested in the story, the use of the in game mechanics are clever and the main relationship is great to see.

I don’t like to complain about the translation because it’s still an entire work that has been done for free but it’s kinda bad here, to the point I have a hard time focusing on it. Sentences just don’t make sense or are reversed, like the MC says “He’s not my style at all” and then you can see she talks about him so the sentence is actually “I’m not his style” rather, but it fucks up my brain when the entire story has sentences that switches words and subjects. It’s really hard, and it’s a shame cause the story is great.

Reaching around chapter 50-55, it is understandable that Rosetta would get frustrated. Although Cadriel has her best interests to heart, he does treat her like a fragile little thing. And sure her body isn’t strong like it used to be, but the fact she isn’t even invited to strategy meeting to at least plan the battle, when she was someone who was moving ship and crew, sailing and who is pretty smart, I just feel her. Okay you do not want to involve her in the battle because she can’t fight like she used to, but you can at least involve her in the planning. But he doesn’t even do that and he keeps her away all the time! She’s kinda right, he loves her but he also keeps her trapped.
In the end he lets her go and all, so it still makes him way better than Nick, but how can he not understand this fundamental part of her? He got to know her when she was a pirate and she still is in her core, even if she switched bodies. I feel like somehow Cadriel just tended to forget that.
She’s a strong FL despite it all so it’s super annoying to see “that son of a biscuit” do that kind of things despite the fact they like each other.
