Not gonna lie I enjoy the manga a lot more than the novel, the way the novel is written in first person pov kinda pisses me of, and it lacks a looooot when it comes to description of characters and scenarios, thank god the novel has a few illustrations of the characters otherwise I'd never know what some of them looked like
Of course the novel is very much in 1 person's pov, which may or may not be accurate. I absolutely love the recent chapters, where it shows exactly what it is that MC did to the knights, exactly as it happened.
Yeah, that's why I feel the lack of description so much lol and our mc being the way he is we get even less descriptions of everything, the times there are more descriptions is when there's pov changes, in one aspect it's nice how we can see how different characters perceive things but on the other it makes the scenes at some points feel a little underwhelming
