I still can´t forgive Law. He created Moritat and hurt Jesse solely for the reason of satisfying his feelings and to finally get over him. In chapter 28 Jesse confronted Law of his suspicious that Law might be the person behind everything and in response Law cried (to the point that Jesse was afraid he might dehydrate himself) but it turns out Jesse was right. Law is the culprit and yet he cried? He admitted in ch 52 that the kidnapping was a setting that he created yet we continuously see Law trying to appear innocent throughout
the time in Moritat and him looking hurt every time Jesse accused him. I still love him but it surprised me how easily Jesse forgave him. I wonder if he still has that lighter? (he probably does). I finally understand now why Law refused to give the mothers voice message to Jesse. It was all because Law wanted Jesse to rely on him and only him and not try to find comfort in his mother´s voice.
Anyways there are still things that are unclear. First of, Jesse says in chapter 31 that he hasn´t cut his nails or hair which means that their physical appearance stays the same inside Moritat so how is it possible that Jesse didn´t notice he stopped growing all the other times? I know Law had many failed attempts so Jesse would eventually forget everything but it doesn´t take long to notice that you´re not growing.
In ch 19 Law told Jesse about the first time they met where Jesse says "hey you blonde, whats your name?" Did that really happen inside Moritat? I think every flashback Jesse and Law have are real that happened in Moritat but if so, how did they grow older? Does Law do something with the machine that makes their physical appearance change as he pleases? (It is possible since Jesse didnt have that scar on his forehead inside Moritat).
But again back to my question, how did Jesse not notice or did Law play with his mind so every time he questions reality, Law brainwashes him and has him falling asleep like we saw each time Jesse wonders about all the strange things? For example in ch 12, Jesse wonders why he doesnt have any scars on his body despite the accident and suddenly his mothers corpse appears out of nowhere which diverges his thoughts to something else. Same in ch 25 Jesse wonders why he´s never wondered about this machine inside his body. Perhaps Jesse inside Moritat wasnt really Jesse since he was being brainwashed. So the only explanation I have is that Law would create a different setting each time where they are either in their current age or younger and somehow play with Jesse´s mind so Jesse wouldn´t notice that he isnt growing and how the tea and cigarettes taste weird. And even when he wonders, he soon forgets. I´d love to hear other people´s thoughts about this weird machine but then again I feel like this is not what the author wants us to focus on.

Notice the change of words. Before it was "beautiful, wise and cruel" then, "beautiful, cruel but tender" and now he says, " poor, silly and lovely Jesse"
Oh how the tables have turned.
Aside from that, I found it really sad how the mother was literally telling Law she would pay him to stay friends with Jesse. I wonder if she knows that they're sleeping together and what would she do if she knew that Law already is aware of the family's little flaw.
And I wonder if Jesse got up from the dinner table and went away knowing full well that his mother would try to convince Law to stay here. This story is so addictive Im lovin it
