(This is my opinion) This manhwa is going round in circles. You have to read atleast 20 chapters to make sure it's going somewhere. I love the story but it's just so fucking slow and time consuming to read.and sometimes it's not making any sense either i fucking hate the emperor and every single character in this but at the same time i love (some of) them but it's just really slow and theres so many unnecessary happenings that DONT FUCKING HELP WITHT HE FUCKING PLOT GOD anyways i jate this this is slower than the slowest pace manga ive ever read and the empress she's smart but she didn't see things from coming im not saying it's her responsibility but she was portrayed as smart ass empress
1. She's human (so even though she portrayed as intelligent and sharp doesn't make her all fucking knowing and a computer um HELLO?) .
2. ITS A THOROUGH STORY. The author/artist is doing an IMMACULATE JOB at world building. Every place, person, object and side character has a purpose and contributes to the plot.
3. Long manhwa's like this have the potential of being adapted into kdramas and can get even more recognition if able to [which I'm pretty sure the artist knows that which is why they are intricately and thoroughly drawing out each scene and detail to a T so that they can deliver the proper emotions they felt to the audience when they read the novel so that it can be a shared experience]
This is why Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint is getting a kdrama because the artist (Sleepy-C who also worked on Solo-Leveling) who is a reader that fell in love with the story enough to want to DRAW. IT. ALL. OUT. For everyone to enjoy and experience, and in doing so-- it's now getting a kdrama for their hard work.
After reading all of what I wrote-- you should be thinking to yourself "wow there's alot more to manhwa's that I didn't even think to understand about and I'm literally just berating this story because I'm not patient enough to enjoy every aspect of it even the slow pacing which actually CONTRIBUTES to the plot...." ya?
