I wonder why this series was revived as a BL? The way the series progressed from the first volume was really natural. The romance is built in so well it’s hard to believe it wasn’t set up from the beginning. I just wonder what caused the change to happen? Did the author just wanna try something different? What this their plan from the beginning? Or was it just easier to find an audience for something marked BL...
The mangaka had a lot of success with Yuki to Matsu, and I believe she had wanted Stigmata to be longer, so maybe .Bloom magazine allowed/encouraged her to continue it as full on BL.
Does this happen to have a novel? Cuz if it does I would love to read it...
Well, even if there's a novel, I couldn't find. But there is a novel with similar elements (isekai, otome, villainess' father) named "Show Must Go On"

I love how we literally never see any of the girls faces
Yeeep--I think he missed that red flag...how he never seems to really notice the girls' faces haha
Oh no I'm pretty sure he already mentioned that I think in the first chapter or something like that I'm not sure but he already mentioned that.
Yah, as I remember it, he mentioned that the girls' faces were simple and blurry, Yah?...but this story is from his point of view? So...isn't it him, then, that can't notice these girls' faces? Thus, he's the one who's missing that red flag. (In Creative Writing, we'd call his first person POV an "unreliable narrative"). Just a thought~
