I'm not satisfied at all. This whole power play and manipulation will probably give brief satisfaction to the readers, but at the end of the day, it feels shit because there's no real conclusion. It's pretty much ' I'm more powerful, no I'm more powerful,' and it goes on and on and on. I thought the secretary would make a difference but he seems to be falling into this cycle as well. All these are characters are just a bunch of manipulative people. There's no real plot to it, characters had no development, if you think they're changing well think again.- that's pretty much what the author is doing.
Gonna be the minority but..
Read this if you have nothing else to read. It's mediocre. It doesn't have a strong plot, actually I can't seem to understand the plot. It's literally the story of two people falling in love, in the most boring ways. plot holes definitely exists. The protagonist is a very plain character, there is nothing to like about him aside the fact that he was drawn really prettily. The brothers had an interesting storyline, but was never explored properly. The real story honestly started at the last bit, where things are actually happening. And the ends of with the airport.
The characters weren't likeable but they're actually not that bad. Siwan was right to steer away from the main couple. I think Siwan and the coffee boy were the only rational characters in the story. But most importantly, it's good to know that there are more stories that pairs up betas with omegas. I would really love a beta and alpha story as well.
I don't have much to say about Fargo. Leaving the series as it is, knowing how much people enjoy it, and yet to abandon it after everything. Yeah sure, it's mentally and physically exhausting sticking with a series for a long time, however there are so many more authors who have stuck with building up their stories for years and yet are able to conclude it. It shows how much dedication the author has for their own novel. In this case, Fargo might have problems committing to a series for a long period of time. She will definitely start up a new one anytime in the future, but then again how long will that one last as well? Why build up so much in the story, if you know you yourself can't commit for a long time? If exhaustion is something you expected, then plan and develop your stories well so you don't have to keep at it for so long . Why keep adding more plot points when you yourself understand how you work best? If this is something that persist, then have a thorough plan to how long the series should go on for...
You know yourself best, learn to work around it. She has a strong fan base yet she misuses them like this. Thinking it's alright, they will support me again if I make another series. Not a good mind set to have honestly. Anyways let's see what happens in the futures. All the best to Fargo
Seeing the comments, I honestly was looking forward to it. But I got bored half way through the story, though I did manage to finish it.. reluctantly. The plot was repetitive. It seemed like a one on one battle between mother and son with either party taking turns to win. The side characters are bland, super interesting. The main characters are boring. Character development is lacking for both these characters, it feels as though these two people are so wrapped up with each other and the whole plot revolves only around this two. All these side characters who we thought had a story was just being extras. They were not pivotal in the story at all. It could have gone on without them actually. I'm not gonna talk about the ending because it's pretty obvious that the author just wanted to end it. The worst kind of ending is when you resolve it by going back to square 1.
So agree with you. End so rushed like the author didn’t give a s**t about closure and giving it a proper ending. I felt I was going in circles when reading going back to the same point without furthig developing the plot nor closing off the crimes committed by that woman...like wtf, let’s just spit out everything and speed up things...THE END.
This was not very “Merry” for my taste...Σ(-_-๑)
Finally managed to finish this. Been putting this on hold for a while, and I still don't get what's up with the hype with this manga. Was it good? Ordinary. Story telling wise, it's different from other yaoi plots but different doesn't really make it good. Its actually pretty boring. The characters are alright but I felt like they seemed a bit bland despite their bsckstories. It's like trying to give them depth for the sake of it but kinda doesn't come through. Behind all these 'psychological' problems is actually another smutty yaoi.
I wouldn't be waiting if I were her. It's good that she overcame her fear, but Riku's reason for not being with her doesnt really help him in overcoming his.Infact, I think what both Riku and his sister are doing is not going to help him in anyway. They're going to be stuck in the same cycle for a long time. What are the chances of Riku overcoming his fear of women even after his sister found someone he loves? He will be much more afraid to be with Reika because of the sister's trauma and will be doing the same shit again with the sister, he will eventually wait until Reika founds someone. It's gonna be an endless cycle. Sometimes waiting isn't good enough.
It seems liked a lot of people do not like it that he's sleeping around. I think he's promiscuity is a part of his character, and honestly I'm really looking forward to his character development. He doesn't seem to be 'in love' with the the main girl yet, more to obsessed. I really love the characters in this story because they're complex and have depth. Their relationship isn't simple but it makes us readers year for more. A good read.
Usually I hate characters that love / obsess over someone but sleep around, but I don't mind when it's Kirishima. The reason is simple - faithful and monogamous Kirishima is creeping me out ( ̄∇ ̄") It wouldn't be him anymore, would he. I don't think he'll ever stop cheating either. I can imagine him be like "you'd the only one I want to have my kids" tho... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
But then Yoshino's not your average girl, she obviously won't allow him to sleep around and I can see her going after him to murder him if even tries.
As it was said before their relationship isn't simple and they don't seem to be in love moreover their take on love are too different for now so I can't wait to see their development !
Then Kirishima really does not deserve Yoshino ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Im fine with anyone as long as 1) he is faithful to yoshino and 2) he makes yoshino happy. I like Kirishima as a character. He is complex and different from the usual male leads but I like Yoshino more. She deserves the world. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
I don't argue that. As you said, she's not your average girl and she herself said that if she loved Kirishima and he cheated she'd kill him. The thing is that a) she doesn't love him and I think she's too realistic to fall for him and b) Kirishima wouldn't be able to keep his dick in his pants to save his life because his morals are scewed. Tbh, I hope they'll never end up together, or that it'll me a marriage of convenience and Yoshino will have a lover she loves... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I never said he does xD I honestly think they wouldn't make a good couple. Like, I can imagine a political marriage with Yoshino having a lover she cares about, but even that has too many problems in it... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
