
I understand her pov because what she wants is closure. She ended things because she realized he didn't like her that way but they never actually talked it out.
But I really don't understand her ex. It's like he only cares about her because he is grateful and that's just WEIRD to date a person for years bc of that. I really don't get it... (pls be gay)

Maybe he's just a pushover to his family.
I mean, there's a lot of that type in Asia, where the firstborn is supposed to be the one who's gonna take care of their parents.
But, seeing how her sister, it's probably because he was raised to be the reliable one, or the ideal one, that he never really have his opinion of his own.
So, after Yoomin "saved" his father's life, and how his family became more and more attached to Yoomin, it became his responsibility to paid her back.
At least, this is my theory. Maybe it's more shallow than that, ore even more deeper reasoning than that.
They supposed to talk about it the moment she heard that, or after that. But Yoomin decided to do the 'act'. Not that I don't understand, but that's why it isn't a clean breakup.
