I think the author’s own bias toward certain tropes really ruined the story. I can just imagine the mangaka in their room, like, “Isn’t it so romantic when two people mutually yearn for each other for a long time? I find that soooooo romantic
also, yudai lies to chiaki because he thinks they can’t have a family together. But adoption is legal in Japan (though the process is extremely lengthy and expensive).
You can still build a family even though you’re men??? You can still be family even without children?? Or by family issues chiaki means parent issues! Meaning he wants parent figures???? I don’t think they’re talking about that since they want to “build a family together” not join one…?
my theory is that the author has some internal homophobia

(because the yudai explicitly states that they can’t build a family together even though they’re men, but doesn’t explain why they can’t be together because they’re men. leaving the audience to basically agree, “yes, because they’re men they can’t be together. That just makes sense!” Even though it makes no sense.) but I’m probably overthinking this

I’m hoping that hatano ends up with the new SSR because I want mob-kun to develop a relationship with someone who also understands the laws of this BL world. But not mayama because I don’t think mob-kun likes him.. at all
Maybe mizumoto will understand it one day like how doesn't he notice that almost every man is this world have things with other men ToT while Mob Kun noticed it. Or maybe cause Mizumoto is part of this world and didn't notice?
I was also thinking mizunoto! Since mob-kun doesn’t really voice his thoughts, they would make a great dynamic :D But I don’t mind if someone else comes and snatches him up either, tbh I just want mob-Kuhn to be happy.
the gay gachiakuta. amazing art, some translations take you out of the story, but I’m guessing with more time it probably should’ve fit in but it took me right out. it was probably set up for after he says his name.
this is so good I’m literally crying thank you for updating thank you delyn thank you translators thank you god I know I’m not going to the gates of heaven but thank you
