i’m happy i stuck out the crazy set up because this is actually really well written. fl and ml are so alike yet opposites at the same time while the friend, even with good intentions, has always been selfish and unable to see others feelings. i’m excited to see how all the characters grow.

btw i don’t hate the friend but i do see how she uses people like ML but seems genuine with FL

He’s been a fairly nice character when he was in high school and he still had mommy issues back then so i dont see why he should be felt bad for or sympathized with suddenly now that he’s turning more and more awful with the same personal issues. His actions beyond high school are his own, hold his creepy ass accountable on his own instead of going “aw but his family situation :( ) as if he’s not a golden spooned kid whos throwing temper tantrums in the worst way possible bc in his privileged life he’s unable to accept rejection smh

Ngl being able to even just speak to your parents who you’ve cut out of your life is extremely hard. It’s been nearly a year since I’ve talked to my dad. But whenever I see these kind of scenarios, where either the parent or child reaches out to the other, it makes me think whether I should try reconnecting. But another side of me thinks that when a parent has hurt their child to the point that they don’t want to talk to them, you should never talk to them again. But then I get soft again when I think about them dying and never trying to reconnect again. But again as the same time I don’t want to get hurt again…. *sigh* (◞‸◟)

Her going for it, just makes this much more fun and easy to resolve. People being complaining about the whole ghosting thing making the MLs red flags, but then you think about the several hundred times FLs have done that, ghosting and running away lmfaoo. No one blamed those FL cause they’re the mc and saw their side of the story, while readers don’t care about the love interest’s reasoning.

Usually in these romance stories, majority of the female leads put in like 60% effort, and the male leads put in at least 90% effort. Cause authors know readers love when a male lead goes all out to chase after the FL. But it’s rarely expected for the FL to actually chase after a ML.

Sometimes, I just feel like we're reading different mangas. Alpha's feelings are valid. I say that it's the accumulation of things he's worrying about but brush it off multiple times because uke does something that makes him feel secured but the thing is, those little worries were not clarified by talking to the uke. So once something major happen, it becomes the release of all the past grievances. (Also, if your boyfriend did not even confront you or ask about the fact that you were photographed in a tabloid kissing another person, you will have the thought that he doesn't give af about you) He was aware of the ugly feelings he is having and he hates feeling that way. They just need to talk about it and to clarify things. Those aren't reasons to hate either of them or even the 3rd party (coz if I'm in his situation and I observed the same things, I will think that it was truly onesided. So props to mitsuki for being a really good actor because he can fool a 3rd party)

Anyways are we all reading the same manga?? Cuz I’ve seen some of y’all trashing on Mahiro for not avoiding the kiss and feeling insecure about his relationship with mitsuki
Here’s my humble opinion:

1.- Y’all expecting this man to have spiderman reflexes or smth cuz there’s no way he could’ve avoided that kiss. Imagine you’re walking on the street after a couple of drinks with a friend and out of absolute nowhere, said friend grabs you and kisses you. There’s no time to react and it’s extremely clear that he didn’t like that kiss.

2.- Mahiro’s feelings are EXTREMELY valid?? As a person who’s more sensitive, younger and more dependent with a love language of words and skinship having an older boyfriend, more on the rational side, independent, and his love language doesn’t show as much, it’s only normal that it makes him feel insecure and question Mitsuki’s love for him. Sure, Mitsuki ain’t no mind reader and prioritizes work cuz 1 it’s his passion and 2 he gotta secure that bag, so he has no way of knowing how Mahiro feels rn; but Mahiro ain’t no mind reader either, and since he doesn’t wanna be a burden he doesn’t say anything. This is a couple communication problem, not a one sided one. They need to sit down, talk it out properly and meet halfway on how they express themselves

Not the people here blaming a sexual assault on the victim. Yall are so fucked in the head. Mahiro did NOT consent to that kiss. It was forced on him. How can some of yall actually blame him for that kiss?

It's clear that neither of Mahiro and Mitsuki are really able to express themselves that well and since this is likely both of their first relationship, they don't even know how to really come clean about their issues to each other.

I don't think we can blame either of them right now. It's very normal to want some affirmation of love from your partner. It doesn't have to be jealousy, but just something. Mahiro wants that but can't really think of any other way but for Mitsuki to be somewhat jealous of the people around him and the kissing incident. He is slowly piling up all these insecurities inside him but isn't coming clean to any of it to Mitsuki. Now it's coming out all at once.

It's clear Mitsuki is also jealous but he is trying to be mature and understanding about it and repressing himself too. It's just backfiring the wrong way.

They just need to sit down and talk about it with each other. All of their worries are very valid.
