I stopped reading the novel way before this part comes. And after what shinjae said “you’ll be facing the physical and your own psychological maze”, I reaaally hope that we can get a deeper look in to the other guys traumas, like hessu, Taein and most of all Chan. I’m quite intrigued to know what’s chain’s past and traumas and what made him like this? Is he has some what of a “reason” or is he really just a douchebag.
Hope that their backstrories get developed more and doesn’t just rush to killing amuten and then another scene of all them or only shinjae fkng yugeon-

We probably won't. Ive read some of the novel to and it seems like the manwha Leaves a lot Important events out, especially when it comes to The development of shinjae and Yoogun's Relationship. Which recently seemed to change suddenly last season. The novel explained. Their sudden relationship changed better.

Yeah, like you said, a lot of s*** was rushed & it ruined the series, but you know, this all allwys happen with any sort of novel adaption to manhwa It's never a 100% faithful And it sucks because the novel is pretty good. Maybe they don't have the money or the artist doesn't feel like drawing the entire story I Have no idea.
But then what's the point of adapting it anyway? If you're not gonna be faithful to the source material. All these characters feel hollow and shallow when they.'re not supposed to be they have their own stories and arcs, and we're not going to get any of that in this manhwa （￣へ￣）
manhwa is rushing through the good scenes that’s why i have no regrets reading the novel. however, even in the novel it didn’t show the other 3 guy’s psychological trauma but only yugeon’s and even glossed a bit over shinje’s. the struggle leading up to their battle with almuten is so good though. i really recommend reading the novel if you can!!!! a lot of readers here complain about how yugeon acted during that last scene with shinje but if they just read the novel they’ll understand why that happened and why yugeon reacted like that.
BRO THIS IS HOW IT SHOULD HAVE ENDED but jokes aside, I find this side story so cute. It just makes my guilty pleasure of liking taesung flutter (￣ε(#￣)Σ
Tbh it is confusing. In the novel everything is much clearer than this. I think morpish really is struggling to adapt correctly the novel and the artist does really have trouble when it comes to convey the characters emotions, some scenes are very vague and hard to understand their posture. For example in a lot of scenes with Taein, is so hard so understand what tf is going on on his head at the moment, it feels incomplete and rushed, maybe a better or more panel/scene designs could help that.
According to the novel, the last chapter, yugeon and shinjae they weren’t actually fighting, or at least not like they showed in here, in the novel shinjae actually tries to help yugeon (in his way) to forget all the pain about his loss, a feel that is really missing in the webtoon. Shinjae in that last chapter looked very condescending and manipulative, a quite opposite posture that he had in the novel in that specific chapter at least, he just looked like he was making again all about himself, but in reality shinjae already new that yugeon in his rage and pain, he wanted something or SOMEONE to make him forget about everything and he just tried to confort him, and now in this last chapter we kinda got it(?, at a terrible pace.
I love the overall world and theme, but I think a big potential id being wasted in here.. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
