Coz not only was he sent to the hospital and losing his memories, he'll be shocked with sou appearing and all and it'll jog his memories only to find out that the person he likes and the person he's running away from will end up together. Like what the heck. if i were him, i'd wish i didn't remember anything and just continue on with life

No, she is gone. He took on her form so he could remember her. I don't have a link but this is based on a light novel, if you google the name it should come up easily.
