The reason this manga makes so many people sad is because shishio was, by no means, a bad person. He was never awful, as male leads usually are, to the girl. He was not as good to her as mamura was, and was wishy-washy, but never treated her badly like most male leads do. Mamura was great, and what the female lead deserved, like most second male leads that get the support of readers, but in this one, sensei still had a lot of supporters purely because he never did anything that made him a bad person in general, and he was sincere in his feelings too (as a teacher, him liking a student freely wouldn't have been good either).
I totally support mamura getting the girl, but i feel bad for the sensei too, so hopefully things go okay with him and his neighbour

I just finished binge reading the series (btw Lezhin is offering a 30% discount on the episodes right now) and I read the spoilers on a post below. I suspected all the revelations (there are so many hints...). Still, this is mind blowing ! But I don't think Jinsol is that bad though...
Spoilers below:

.
.
Not being able to lie is inconvinient but not being able to tell the truth is a freaking disability (eg. in chap 5 he couldn't tell his name to Tan Han's father or when he's always pretending that he's alright/his wounds don't hurt him).
I feel that in chapter 28 he is starting to have feelings for Saegye: when he tells him "I love you" on the bus and then sights in relief, I think he was testing to see if he's still safe because if he were to really fall in love he wouldn't be able to hide his true nature anymore and, at the end of the chapter, when he hugs him and says "I've always been honest with you. I love you", I feel like he's trying to confess that he's been lying all along but obviously he physically can't say that (I felt sad for him there). The fact that he's starting to have feelings for Saegye might be why he's testing him in the latest chapter.
I think Ceasar's comment about passing on the Dare "curse", is proof that anyone can exchange marks when kissing.
I wonder, regarding the letter Jinsol wrote to his mother, if he wasn't planning on passing his F mark to Chang-oh and changed his mind when he realized the guy loved him so much (hence why he "abandoned" him).
In the first chapter he told Saegye "It's a relief meeting you", which has to be a lie. I wonder what he actually felt at that moment... it's fun trying to guess what he was really thinking each time he lied !
I do wonder why his mother, if she really loves him, didn't take the F mark away from him ? Is she same as him ? Can't she be a responsible adult and try to help her son instead of writing books about how sad she is knowing that he's having a hard time ? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
The parents in this webtoon are TERRIBLE.

i buy all the chapters on tapas but realized they censor everything there, so if some translation group is willing to translate the raws, it would be much appreciated (●'◡'●)ノ

I just finished the manga in Japanese. Spoilers:
- The main character ends up with his boss, with whom he (maybe for the first time) learns what means by being loved and treasured. They live together in happiness in the boss' apartment.
- The highschooler is not gay, at least up to the time the story ends. I think he is similar to a savior who happens to cross the main character's path of life when the latter is in despair. Having a heart of gold, the boy is such a pure angel. I'm glad it does not turn out that there is romantic love between them, and this makes the manga different from many others.
- Please do read the mangaka's other works: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kikoenai_koe/ (first story) - http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/mienai_hoshi/ (sequel), and http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/kamen_teacher_kyouyama_atsuki/ .

This is just my typed thought.
The drawing style, story flow, MCs's personality, all's beautiful.
I see Fumi as a simple guy without complicated mind. he has a warm feeling when serving Sazawa, clearly reject the costumer at first, comfortable with a kid's touch, be grateful for the roof over his head.
It's true that there'r something bothering, like the rape, rapist, and Iyo & Fumi bath scene. Rape is no good, but Fumi never talk it out to Sazawa/anybody else, he only said he had dispute, not get raped. we don't know what's on his mind for not talking it out, who knows? just Moto sensei maybe. And yeah Fumi actually hate it for sure and don't want it to happen again. For the bath, i think Sazawa see that Iyo fond of Fumi, and Fumi is harmless (he lost fight, he's more into Sazawa), so he let them take a bath together, this is fine with me.
i judge the content by the cover thumbnail, that's why i always just let this one pass by, and i made mistake.i should have read this long ago.

I know everyone is going after the Professor and I kinda hate him too, but not for the same reasons.
His reactions are actually quite common. When you love and care for someone, you can't believe that they would really be as bad as someone says they are.
I was in a very abusive situation. I told friends and family, but they only saw the charming person outside, not the screaming aggressive person reserved for inside the home. Everyone couldn't believe it was as bad as I said.
Not until that person lost it in front of others. Then they apologized and wanted to help.
I hate the professor because he represents all the people who wouldn't listen.
I saved myself and have to accept the fact that many people will never understand.
