I get where you are coming from but the demon, Kian, is the male lead in this story instead of the original male lead. Quite frankly, even though Kian is hiding something and gives off mixed signals, I find him alright. He does care for Rosette and his willingness to protect is admirable. The reason why no one knows who he is is because the crown prince is already dead and he takes on the disguise of the crown prince. Also, with Rosette's novel not being complete, of course no one would know who he is because most likely he appears later on in the original story.
I don't think Rosette is being naive, she knows Kian is sketchy and hiding something but she sees that he doesn't want to cause her harm. She is still scared at times, but she cares about him enough to get past it.
The ghost though... It would make sense if that was her mom but who truly knows?
I think she did explain that even though she has her past life memories but since her body is a child, her mind matched to it

I dislike how she causally lets the snake slide with everything. He tries to kill our ML multiple times but she kinda just gets mad at him a little and lets it slide like nothing. She doesn’t really do anything to discipline him. As soon as she sees him cries it’s like the fact he also kills the guy disappears from her mind. And she’s back to cheering him up. I understand his mind is one of a 10 year old but shouldn’t he know what’s wrong and right now. Now thanks to his greed for the ML she’s gonna get in trouble bc there’s probably a reason they want that book. Her ex hurt her when they broke up and she grew from it, and I dislike how he wanna to get back together even tho he broke it off(which I’m glad he did bc he understood that if it went on like that he might end up hating her bc how much he compared himself to her and how perfect she is)I feel like tatsuo could do some good for her but I also like how he’s not trying to hurt her cuz of his past trauma with his ex.
