    The part with the white haired girl was from the original book. It did not actually happen here. Jeremy does not love her in this version. You can further tell it's not in the current timeline because he mentioned Roxanna collecting her toys' eyeballs, where as the current Roxanna has no interest in "toys". So that was the plot of the original story. As for the three year timeskip, there IS going to be a timeskip, but I'm not sure if the timeskip we saw there is from the current timeline or from the original book's.
