Maybe I'm thinking of this wrong but it gave me bad vibes... reminded me of an old video I saw where people were pressuring someone into "going straight". This is the same thing, only in the opposite direction. I don't think pressuring people in any regard is cool at all... Our stupid culture these days... why can't people just let other people sort their shit out rather than trying to push them one way or the other?

To address one of the more sickening elements of manga "lore", and the notion that sexual assualt somehow conveys a person's feelings...
In the real world, a relationship doesn't come back from sexual assault. No re-do's, re-starts, regaining trust, etc. Not gonna happen, ever. There may even be forgiveness... but NEVER forgetting. There is not the slightest chance that a relationship with the person they sexually assaulted will ever develop in any meaningful (healthy) way.
I LOVE this author, and they aren't afraid to explore tough relationship issues. Something feels off to me about this couple, and I hope that is where the story is headed. The balance just isn't right...
