They’re likely lying, if he tells them they’ll kill him right away because they got what they wanted. Also the shelter likely doesn’t have much resources so they probably don’t want others getting there first.
Im pretty sure you dont want torture-happy people in your shelter.
If he tells them, another set of problems will come. Such as them use MC as map, hurt the ML to take full control of MC, and also put MC to danger and a lot more. They better die there and then so our main couple can go on their way.
though i think the shelter isn't such a good place. for sure there are already greedy ppl there ready to harm each other for the sake of food and all.
