I stopped after the translation got different and I'm planning to read this again. Did the translation improved after a while?
Okay, let's sum up the translation work here:
Chapters 1 to 34 (the first ones published) are from the korean version.
Chapters 1 to 119 are from the chinese version. Basically, after chapter 34 of the korean version they published everything all over again, but with the chinese version. If you want to skip to where the korean version left off, just jump to ch. 58 of the chinese version.
Chapters 120 to the end (ch. 152) go back to the korean version. It just continues where the chinese version left off, but the names are in korean again.
Differences between translations?
The names (the korean version has korean names and in the chinese version has chinese names), little details about the plot (about the business trip: in the chinese version isn't mentioned that it's Jeju Island because that would make more sense in the korean version), I guess there's more censorship on the chinese version (specifically, the kiss scenes), the sentence construction (it's easier to understand the korean version because it's usually simpler than chinese).
Hope I helped! ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~
Ugh yes I love this type of painful story. I like the complicated situation and the characters and how understandable/reasonable (??) their reasons are.
MC just woke up from a coma just to find his boyfriend with a new boyfriend, they were together for years. It's like meeting your long time boyfriend with his new boyfriend while saying "Hi babe this is my new boyfriend, btw we can't be together now." You can't blame MC for chasing his ex, for him it was like yesterday when they were still in love, but I like how he accepted and also understood that it has been 5 years and tried his best to understand that his ex already have a new boyfriend and that it would be selfish of him to still pursue the ex, I mean he did try to get back with him because girl ugh just imagine waking up one day then your boyfriend tells you that you're over while holding hands with his new bf, I'll be like wtf babe noo and try to talk to him (I mean if I added that 5 year gap I'll try to understand and just move on). Lol this is going in circles.
Also, lel, this gonna be long, I also don't hate ex and his new boyfriend. For ex it was 5 years full of devastation and pain, he was also suicidal (comments said), and when he finally had a new boyfriend MC showed up like Jesus. He still cares and love MC but he can't be with him because he can't just leave his boyfriend just because your ex showed up, that's a jerk move, he can't also be chummy and affectionate with MC because he has a boyfriend and it would be unfair to him if he do, I mean they could treat each other more casually but they obviously can't because of their strong feelings for each other and it would be hard to move on. Ex was also in bad situation, he may look like a villain wishing for the MC's death, but he's probably scared that ex would leave him for MC because he knew himself that the love Ex feels for him is different, tbh I think I would the same, not the wishing for death part tho, I just want them to try to not that much to u know, interact with each other. But basically, ex should just break up with his boyfriend because he's obviously still in love with MC, and being with his current boyfriend while in love is definitely not healthy, then MC should just be with sunbae and move on.
My reasoning might be shit, I accept dislikes thank you ༎‿༎
Okay I need Side Story 3, please don't tell me it's actually the end ༎‿༎ we need to see Byul grow up
