Anyways, here goes:
1. I read some comments that in the novel version Mia isn't as villainous and sneaky as she's presented in the webtoon and I think that's very intriguing. What a cliche way to drag the drama around but her actions do irk me even if I understand that the emperor can take as many women under him. I think it's semi ironic that she died from being too unaware of her surroundings after a drinking bout from a cheating ex. She doesn't seem to show common sense for a modern woman ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
2. Also, this quarantine has really gotten me jack full with all these isekai stories that certain cliches are just ringing around like warning bells which is to say yes, you my green-haired boi, i see you, i know you're going to fall for Mia
3. Im getting the vibes that Serena/Leana's gonna have a terrible life even if she befriends Mia and when my suspicions were confirmed in the comments... Pain.
4. The webtoon really be making it obvious baby brother blondie is the perpetrator with all these attacks ??? or at least that's what my gut is telling me and I didn't try to confirm with any more spoilers
5. Just read that Leana's gonna still end up with that indecisive motherfucker of an emperor even with all the crap he's put her through ???? strong, independent bitches rly getting the short end of the stick, huh (︶︿︶)＝凸
6. I read from someone who also had a similar question I had when I first read this on why she'd want a simple life but get married to that whackass dumpster fire and sis, same thoughts! Handsome, rich guys do be making our lives threatened and maddening ヾ(☆▽☆) in exchange for wealth and power. We love the risk! But also, I totally get it. Like, go Leana! I'd totally do the same and I'd understand since it's a royal decree you can't necessarily turn it down. Also,,, be a token wife and just gotta be semi-present with some functions while I leisurely go about on my pretty corner while helping people in the shadows-ish????? Yes, please.
Anyways, I just might drop this tho. I was really rooting for Mia and Leana to be friends from the same origin and find solace from one another but it seems were going the route of ruining innocent Leana's life, huh. Can't stomach the thought that Mia will get a slap on the wrist and Leanna has to suffer along the way. YEET.
I do remember reading translations on Instagram about that the empress suspects the blonde haired dude because he can go wherever he wants to go without being suspected. Also he does approach mia and tells her that she can continue to follow the emperor because the emperor can get more than one women
so he does seem very suspicious ╮(￣▽￣)╭
oh wow i hope you didnt read all of this mess (￣∇￣") but ye, the first few chapters he was introduced coincided with reports of a rebel group attack and he came off really shoddy from the get-go???? too many isekai subgenres has made me untrusting of most characters lmao. I dont trust him but i also feel like, if this werent a webnovel and relied more on some semblance of reality, he'd still be a better fit for Leana. Bb girl deserves better #－.－) minus him being shady lol
also warafaq i guess he's justified telling Mia that since its true but it still hurts. Maybe its the inner monogamist in me or maybe because I don't like Mia. Welp.
Wait, what? I didn't read much spoilers, only that apparently Mia marries ml (I'm not too sure tho), so I'm kinda out of the loop. So, how does Serena suffer? Is the ml a dick to her? Does he actually fall for Mia and marry her? Is Serena thrown to the side, or what? I'm not gonna read this anymore if this ends up in some kinda polyamory. Not my cup of tea.
The blonde guy seems like he might fall in love with our queen doe :/ ngl he sweet but i sense some dark shit around him. Would still marry him and let him torture me if hes into those stuffs hes too handsUm and cute for my heart. I feel like emperors rival is gonna be blondie and queens is Mia.

oh no sorry im not too sure either, i just scanned through some of the top comments. All I saw is (SPOILER ALERT) that at some point even if the ml finds out his feelings for fl he'll still marry Mia [my theory on this is because she's pushed by the fl and also because of the prophecy thing and the girly likes the ml] and apparently Mia will torment the fl ???? so she ends up suffering [honestly what a dick move]. But later on, I read the ml will end up marrying the fl [this is where any and all theories i have are confused lmao; i like to think maybe he finds he can't take Mia and prefers the fl and probs ends up loving her a 100%] and then apparently Mia ends up having a happy ending with green-hair. What a train wreck, honestly. I think polyamory wouldn't really be an option here. Temporarily maybe, while ml marries Mia and fl stays as queen??? and then it goes nada afterwards (〜￣△￣)〜

Ayee, sorry my dude. I just read some of the spoilers previous to my comment. They didnt rly explain it, just that they mentioned in the novel, Mia was chill and supportive of Leana and the emperor but here in the webtoon it went the opposite route and apparently she's going to be a total bitch just to be with the emperor in future chapters.

Tangently related to the story, I just noticed this but I think it’s cute of the author to divide the family (w/o including Nanny) into 2:3s, for instance:
2 have yellow hair & 3 have black
2 have blue eyes & 3 have red
2 are females & 3 are males
2 are adults & 3 are kids
I wanted to make comparisons with skin color as well but the brothers always have fluctuating skin color so nvm ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I understand she cares for her life and for her step son’s hence she wants to treasure and treat him right as all children should and change the course of her fate. And I understand she’s going by the logic of the novel she’s read; most people in such a situation I’d presume would not be level-headed to think up of survival strategies that are portrayed by many isekai fls in this sub-genre, reality-wise. But truly, thinking it in the perspective of her as an individual and not as just a character, she had the opportunity to read the novel so she would know that the Chide family has a lot of enemies considering their family is the royal dog but she treats everything very half-assed. Her character is quite unique and different from the many isekai protagonists I’ve seen; she’s the first I’ve seen who’s very casual and chill about her situation without a care for her safety just because the only threat to her life is Ain. She’s not thinking long-term. Although its a new concept from the usual ‘secretly’ compatible and able isekai fl and I’m a lil intrigued, I look forward to what she can bring to the table in future chapters. On the other hand, her actions bring more harm than she thinks. Truly, her characterization thus far is the eptiome of the saying: ‘The road to hell is paved with good intentions.’ I hope some part of her brain knocks her back to reality. Orz this got long #－.－)

I'm on chapter 21 and honestly, I feel like although the story is still lacking in holding the readers to really stick with it, it has potential. However, I really don't like the sniping of this webtoon just because a lot of people are waiting for it. A lot of stories have readers waiting on its updates, what makes this any different? Like, it's cool and all if you can scanlate it fast + with high quality and give justice to the whole presentation of the webtoon. Grammar and font alone are a part of the package that entices the readers to read and what scan groups or other experienced solo scanlators have to offer. As someone who's helped in some scanlations before and seen how they work and plans to make the translation look legitimate, this just makes me feel bad.The butchering of transitions and names is also insane; how did Athanasia become Athanas and now the name Lucarian (Rian) just became Lucalene with a nickname Ryan? Make it make sense.
I'm not mad at the person just that if you're going to take over, at least check the previous chapters so there's familiarity and a proper transition of sorts. Also, making it a little doable to the eyes and having better quality for the readers should be a priority. This is an illegal translation but if were doing this, I think anyone reading it deserves a presentable translation. ╥﹏╥ Anyways, there's always room for improvement to the person currently scanlating if you really want to give the people what they want. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

As you say, this IS an illegal translation. We deserve nothing actually and you should be grateful that the scanlator even translates this comic and uploaded for us. The scanlator is doing this for FREE, and the translations are not that bad. Unless you pay the scanlator, you should not bitch around for something that you get illegally for free.

Uploaders spent their free time translating comics for us. Furthermore, the translations aren’t even that bad. There are much worse translations out there.

They used their time uploading this for us but people are complaining instead. It’s like that proverbs ‘give somebody an inch and they’ll take a mile.’ Imo if the translator is charging a fee THEN you can ask the translator and uploader to prioritize good quality for readers.
yeah, i guess i agree with you at the part where the commenter shouldn't have said the readers is the translator priority when they does it for free but I'm just agreeing with the criticism.
However, for free or not, it's normal for readers to criticize, express their opinion and ask for some changes. You cannot 'forbid' that. If the translator is not okay with that, either they can just ignore the criticism, follow the readers or just drop the project.
Yea true i guess, free speech and all.. it’s just... it’s really saddening yaknow, i saw lot’s of uploaders getting fire from readers due to ‘slow uploads’ or ‘sub par translations’ (they post their response on a chapter and for goodness sake why are they the ones apologizing... they sacrificed their time for our enjoyment...) and i hope those complainers read my comment and stop attacking the poor uploaders’ dms or giving them death threats for uploading slow etc.

It's also my mistake that I phrased it as 'give us fucking great quality or dont scanlate' which, yes, I do agree, I came off aggressive at that and although I could've better phrased that, I still stand by the spirit of those words. Not like, sending death threats or attacking them in their dms which I think is overkill. I don't think anyone deserves that when they're giving us free translations at the cost of their own time and effort, with their own money involved sometimes, especially at the digital age that we are in now when uploads are quicker and easier to access than a few years ago.
I just want to flesh out properly however since I don't think you guys picked on what I really was focusing on (which is also my bad), but I was rather more 'hurt' at the sniping the previous solo uploader did from the scan group since I used to scanlate myself in a few groups. And although I no longer scanlate, in the groups I've been in, we've always prioritised not just giving out a translation but also a quality that will please the readers because we put our works to high standards and it's just part of our 'free service'. I wasn't of course, as good as I'd like to believe I was when checking my old works but a lot of the groups I was in did decent scanlations and it's a force of habit to hold everything with the thought of prioritising the readers' ability to read the work properly without getting disoriented/shabby or it being 'decent' in my standards. I understand that we all have different perspectives on the matter and that's cool (1/2)
And, to specificy to miss/mister Siaa's firs point, no, I wasn't bitching about the scanlator doing the good lord's work. Honestly, that's the point: it's FREE and I have no qualms about it. I'm thankful for their efforts. I, however, chose to move away from the story because its free and I can hold it to the standard I wished to hold, shitty translation or not (partly the reason but not fully). We also have to give ourselves the freedom to choose what works we want to continue reading and for me, this wasn't it. So, I left. Of course, mainly 90% of the reason I'm bitching is because of the sniping. With my previous experience, IT WAS PURELY ON A PERSONAL/EMOTIONAL LEVEL of feeling bad that a scan group got sniped. That's it.
And hey, my dude, I totally get you feeling bad about uploaders/translators going under fire from discontented(?)/unthankful readers because they're providing us penniless peeps free content and totally, you're justified in that! I've heard horror stories from friends who also scanlate on how entitled some readers can get and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, terrible/good scanlator-wise. It's nice you feel for them but I realize that no matter how much I explain this and the etiquette behind sniping or quality, etc., that it can't be easily understood by many and that's fine! Different roles, different experiences, different perspectives. I just think, as much as I'm glad your passionate to uphold the translator up for doing their work freely, calling it bitching left a bitter taste on me lmao ╮(￣▽￣)╭
