Ima be fr, this is one of those stories where the first couple's story couldve been where the whole thing ended. I cant believe I breezed through a report with no prep because I wanted to finish and see where the main couple was headed only to see a plethora of toxic MLs combined in one story. Most of them are varying levels of WHEW (⊙…⊙ ) but that psycho boss...... Im not one to overthink how insane people like him think cuz dear God, with a childhood and proclivity of degenerate kinks like that, it rly wont matter what the end of his story is or why he is the way he is, all I know is a shit ton of therapists would be having a field day. Anyways, Im just commenting to scrEAM INTO THE VOID TO NEVER LET THAT WOMAN GET TOGETHER WITH THE MC CUZ I DONT NEED MORE TRAUMATIZED AND FUCKED UP LADIES !!!! Giiiiiiirl, remain his friend and support cuz a fucked out guy with over dependence issues like him will need a whole mfing community cuz his choices in men are TRASH. I bet theyre gonna be end game with how this author goes about these stories ok screaming over I just wanted to look out for my ladies !!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAW

Honestly, I hope the boss and the childhood guy get together, they deserve each other. I swear, no sarcasm (⌒▽⌒) Let the insane ones link up together so us semi-normies can be saved from unnecessary therapy costs (CAN YALL IMAGIIIINE ????? SCREAMING!!) from a kid that grew up with one of the shittier childhoods and end up just like his father lol

Lemme be clear: I eat this shit up. BUT! Theres a part of me that cant help but face palm with Iheon (ML)'s choices. Like, through all that, your world view never changed, never stirred. It might be romantic for some, but the reality is our ML is so pitifully pathetic. He doesnt have an ounce of other real world interactions that significantly brought him joy or glee or any other interest other than to chase and obsess over a best friend that dont feel the same way about him in two worlds already. No matter the delulu and rationalizations, reality has shown him time and time again they arent meant to be except for the current reality where Huimin is more receptive of him. He is so..... tragically pitiful in a world where there are so many other things to live for than a single person. Sigh.

Rather than three chances, it's more like. Two. The first life was the tragedy where he didn't know anything and there was so many misunderstandings but he loved and was obsessed and Huimin. But when they were in the painting world, he couldn't go anywhere without Huimin because the second he was out of range the world would freeze. So he had no opportunity to do anything without him. And in a way that made it so he had no choice but for his entire life in that world to revolve around Huimin. Which of course led to his third life where he was determined to make it right. But you can only change your character so much without actual therapy. So we end up with this.

I think you need to chill for a bit (⊙…⊙ ) its not that deep haha.
We ARE reading the same thing. I just dont agree with the choices he made. The first world, sure, it was his first chance at life and he made his choices. Second world, he wasnt in control, but litrally for one second if you could just consider that maybe Im thinking ????? That he could learn to realize that life shouldnt just stop at Huimin ??? Just because you were stuck for seven years with the person you were obsessing over, he still had the capabilities as he knew the world before and currently and decide for himself if this was the life he really wanted. When he left that second world with his best friend, the person he 'cared' for most, he could have decided on the third try to make things different for him. He didnt need to FOLLOW every bit of their past to reach their current reality, he rly could have made a more positive thing out of his life. Ofc, because he's experienced life in an otherworldly way, there's only so much he can do w/o actual therapy like user A Random Otaku says. Im saying: he wasted his chances to a new life and its both pitiful and tragic because he wasnt in control with the first two and on his third he still went the same semi-destructive route. Gets ???? ( ̄∇ ̄")

Sum of yall dont rly think about how life could be so different if yall didnt choose to go a certain route in a significant moment in your life or think of the what ifs and reminisce on how yall would totally change things if you could just go back to a certain time and maybe let go of a person or stop being hung up with smthn you cant achieve or wonder how different life was if you did this instead of that and it shows (⊙…⊙ ) deep breaths yall

Ye, I kinda generalized my already long brain vomit cuz word count but I think you encapsulated my words well :) I find the author or whatever god was looking over the two was cruel on Iheon. As much as I also wanna believe he rly could have had a more peaceful life with Huimin had he learned (keyword here) to realize that obsession wasnt everything or that his third life could pan out differently with or without his best friend, I can see that his obsessive personality would probably not have adjusted to living a life that didn't revolve around Huimin since its all he knows in his first two lives and that was a long time of liiiiving. Its a bit frustrating to see smn hold onto smthn when the signs from the literal world are blaring you to stop holding on to it but your mind is just ????? hard headed beyond measure ?? and doesnt know how to let go or get help or find something else to lean on. I wonder if he got introduced to therapy in the first timeline or in the third timeline could they have had a more organic start to a relationship...( ̄へ ̄)

I think in a way the fact that his life in the painting world has to revolve entirely around Huimin made his obsession worse. There was no way for him to heal. What he wants to have yet is never able to staring in him in the face everyday, almost as if to mock him. The love of his life looking at him with a certain unfamiliarity. It is a special kind of torture. He really needs therapy.

Ngl ya cooked with this one! Ye, I think having the ability to live through multiple lives and remember each one while the rest of the world around you never remains consistent, could disappear in a split second and you're alone in an unknown reality with one consistent person that's never truly w/in your reach is a horror of its own. Its like the time travel genre but here its multiple remembered lives. To some degree, Iheon never belonged. He never took up space, never got to see what else was out there without the tether of Huimin and I find that just so sad. If there is a fourth life, I hope he doesnt remember his past, I hope he has a functional life with or without Huimin. There's so much to live for out there and I wanna see him thrive and enjoy it and experience love without begging for it in multiple worlds in his own twisted way :'))

The role of the reader is to consume. Whether the story is bad or good, tolerable or insufferable, debilitating or devious, erotic or degenerate, hopeful or amusing. The reader... Is someone with a gnawing to know more, one begotten with the craving to see the world they can never experience through books that lead to many other worlds.
Just as Alice consumes and consumes, we consume Alice's story.
Just as Alice's happiness is to experience it all, to know of it all through words, through reading, through searching, we the reader continue to press 'Next' to see how each fragment of this story comes to be and see how we feel about it.
Just as Alice muses that her overconsumption of 'information' is excessive and... In the grand scheme of things may be meaningless, it is up to us the reader to muse if reading to the end was a worthy choice at all.
