so... seungho's family is a violent family, destroyed nakyum's family in the past? am I wrong? and what kind of relationship between nakyum's family and sir inhun?
I'm guessing, as a prominent family, the Yoons are expected to excel and be perfect in everything. This is ancient Korea, so corporal punishments was very common. Seungho was not the perfect child so maybe he was continuously beaten to "straighten" him up. However he tested his father's bottomline and was therefore banished from the family and was therefore ignored by the same father. He now engages in debauchery to have the attention of his father (wc i think what the housekeeper was talking about.) Now, nakyum's sis compared seungho to the nobles who visited the kisaeng house (wh*rehouse) because of his violence. And you know, elitist nobles look down on prostitutes and beat them up as they want (few wh*rehouses actually protect their employees, since you must have a sh*t ton of debt to be a prostitute). We learned from several chapters back that NaKyum grew up in kisaeng house and it was inevitable that he witnessed violence towards his 'sisters'. Inhun also probably grew ip in kisaeng house to or even a servant there, it's very common for orphans to do so. And NaKyum was interested in learning as opposed to the tradition that the common people do not need education, so he could be considered as Inhun's student as well. In short seungho is just an edgy kid who didnt grow up in his chuunibyou years
wow... kenta is something (▰˘◡˘▰)
