Even though the girl loses motivation, the guy friend like, photoshops pictures of her to show her what she might be able to look like to help bring her motivation back and then she does well and is happy even though she doesn’t end up looking like the pictures because she’s proud of herself for her progress anyway
Idk if it was yaoi or straight, maybe straight, but it was a world where people lived with yokai and the last couple, or maybe the only couple, the guy was an oni. I just remember it was an interesting premise, but I can’t remember what it was. I think there were like two other human/yokai couples
