Owl guy's weird anyways too, the way he pushed her to go with the person she didn't want to be with felt really gross, and this new development also feels gross. If Amber is the real Pink diamond then Obsidian shouldn't have to act anymore, if she isn't, then he should tell her. I'm not into this weird limbo. I get that he's hot eye patch guy, but the vibes are seriously off. Unless he's meant to be a yandere type??

Besides, based on the raws, it seems she still holds Alexandrite in her heart. (If Alexandrite turns out to be library boy... i'd be so into it. it would be beautiful. Book boys 4 eva)

The only thing I retained from this chapter was that guy's hat. I was so distracted by it I forgot the events chapter entirely and all I could think about was the spacetime model on his head when I tried to re-read it.
