Looks like a lot of secrets are about to come out about the Han family and what they did to our precious boy in order to break his relationship with Seo-In.

It wasn't just the brother with mirror mole.

It was the parents!

Did they pay the scumbag father just to shut up about the bullying?

Or was it for them to disappear out of Seo-In's life because they can't have him in love with a boy?

Seo-In obviously knows nothing and mc knows that too. He also knows or may suspect that Seo-In isn't just using him for sex. He is interested in him and jealous over him.

And although mc didn't tell him anything...it's an awesome thing that they are talking about the past. Even it is in bits and pieces. Even if it is on hold because mc ain't ready to discuss.

But this is progress.

And the secrets coming out...will Lance that festering wound between them.

Maybe they can have a happy ending together with each other?

But the angst is first.

This was peak perfect.

Now, Kaiden, what will you do now that you realized what you did wrong?

How do you plan on apologizing?

Oh. Wonder if he realizes it is like like or just friend's like?

His answer will be interesting.

Oh...so that's who Hoffman is and why Silas is trying to get his conviction overturned.

I wonder if Silas was Hoffman's alibi but it was discounted or hidden?

And we are finally getting a conversation about Silas, his motives, and desires with Arthur.

It also sort of sounds like he is letting Arthur go. Not that he has given up on the relationship but more that he is allowing Arthur to make the choice.

I wonder how Arthur will respond and if he is able to see where things are headed.

I feel that with Arthur's naivete and hesitation he may mistakenly think Silas is done with him...and things come to a halt for a portion of time until he wisens up, someone informs him of Silas' feelingsfor him, or Silas gets into trouble.

Badass.

Now how much did that guy overhear and what happens next?

Bad buys making moves...

But summoning a god?

Will that send him back home?

Love this couple.

Oh that was a twist.

The girlfriend was trans.

Was it really just a mugging? Or a targeted hate crime? Or was it a member of the birth family?

Not unheard of for family of queer people to murder them. For that matter, it's not unheard for parents to murder their kids or siblings to kill each other.

Trans women face higher homicide rates than any other demographic with black trans women at the very highest.

This just opened up a lot more questions.

Were other trans women being targeted at the same time? Were women of a certain look? Was this a serial mugger crime? Serial rape gone bad?

P.S. 2 things that bug me.

1) Arthur should know that he HAD to be taken off the case because he became a victim. It is absolutely stupid to think Silas had to do something to get him removed.

A victim or anyone close to them (friend, partner, family, etc) CANNOT investigate the perps. The DA/Judge would toss the case because all the evidence could educate seen as tainted and even if there was a conviction the Appeals court would toss it and ALL evidence gathered by that person, fruit of the poisoned tree and all that.

2) a victim's family has NO RIGHT to end a MURDER INVESTIGATION. They may not want to cooperate and even be hostile, but by law a homicide case has NO STATUE OF LIMITATIONS and can be re-investigated.

A closed case means that they believe they caught the murderer or the one they presumed to be the murderer is dead or in jail.

The case may have gone COLD but it CANNOT be CLOSED. And there are cold cases that are DECADES old that get reopened all the time. Just watch Cold Justice about real cold cases.

But if that family was SPECIAL with certain POWER and PRIVILEGES then they could exert power to shut it down but it's never gone gone. Not unless cops did illegal stuff like destroying evidence.

There are warehouses where evidence goes. There are records of who had access to it. There are itemized lists of what should be in the evidence boxes.

If there is new credible evidence (even just a anonymous tip on it) just about any case can be reopened.

Which leads me to believe that Jones may be a lazy corrupt cop but orders came from up top.

And that case is SHADY.

Anyone else get the feeling that something is going to go wrong in this fight?

Like interference or something?

Charon? Hypnos?

What are Greek gods doing in this story?!

I think maybe Qin Xian was in on it, after all he went mad with desire for Y and challenged the System himself.

Even as X he was continuing his own desires as he ATE Wang Yi to fully tie them together.
