I think...if they knew about his promise, about how he knew the guy since he was a child they could at least respect the loyalty he held.
It is rare to find someone so genuine, true, and loyal to his oaths.

Alpha at work warns his boss that he might be going into heat, but the Omega doesn't believe him. Think it's just a cold. Goes home home on the train.
Alpha and his pet omega partner plan a sex game. On the train.
It was fully consensual...
But the boss Omega is on the train while the pet one got on the wrong train.
Thus what was a consensual game became unconsensual but the Alphas thought this was all a role play and continued on.
Coworker Alpha figures out the mishap and saves his boss...but the boss is now fully in heat and gagging for it.
So they hook up.
Later omega boss becomes the pet Omega to his Alpha and they play more games, this time consensually.
From the comments...I had the thought that the Alpha messed with the omega's pills, knew he was going into heat, and set up this trap.
But nope, it all a mistake. No nefarious plan. Just a set of coincidences.
So while it's a bit twisted...it's not as bad as others make it out to be.
