How do y'all not see how attacking the uploader is a problem. People sent them death threats for uploading a chapter on here without the official translations, WHEN WE'RE ALREADY READING IT ON AN ILLEGAL WEBSITE. Like how do y'all find the audacity and time to harass innocent people trying to be helpful. On behalf of the toxic mangago users who need psychological evaluation, im so sorry to uploaders who have been attacked and I want to thank you for taking time out to translate, upload, and or scan these mangas/manhwas
I didn't upload a chapter on this manhwa/manga but I appreciate you understanding how much time is put into it. I translated a chapter a while back and got death threats and so much hate for my cropping. I spent days translating one chapter by myself and ended up having to take it down because everyone was hating on me.
So we're just allowing the seme to go from a repeat r@pist to a love interest for the uke? Yeah, it's a no for me. (The biggest issue for me is that the author is trying to take something has dark as r@pe and torture/abuse and turn it into a "cute romance" instead of portraying it as how serious it actually is)
Its fiction thats all its not a porn video, cause theres alot of porn videos that include r@pe and thats different from fiction. No one is allowing him to go from a repeat r@pist to a love interest for the uke, basically we have no control over that. If you dont like the manga move on, we know its fucked up but at the same time we know what fiction and reality is.
Clearly I'm aware its fiction, but it's still weird how that dramatic change in character is so common for mangas like these, and it's always disappointing and ruins the story for me. And as a reader I have a right to feel that way. So I don't get why we're all supposed to agree with the seme becoming a love interest...
Well its better to see some character development and give the idea that people can change, and ofc it doesnt mean we have to forgive that person but its still better than nothing. In this case this person might forgive their r@pist, there are other cases in yaoi where they dont forgive them. And move on and try their best to recover.
True, I just feel like how it was done in this story never truly addressed the r@pe as how dark it actually was and made light of it in a sense. But for example with harada's work, we're shown how traumatic and dehumanizing it is. But of course I wouldn't be angry that he's becoming a good person (I definitely prefer that in this story), it just felt so rushed and unrealistic because a repeat offender doesn't just change that quickly, but im still reading it because im rooting for the ukes happiness ┗( T﹏T )┛
Yea i agree with you. but at the end of the day its whatever this genre has always been like this. Honestly its sad cause i have been reading since 2016 and im used to these type of yaoi, i still get mad just like you said that he changed so fast and now they might get together. At the end of the day i just read it and not think about it afterwards cause theres no point in getting mad at it, no one will listen and the author wont change the manga or the way that they write stories because people enjoy them.
But I don't want mio for ash, like no bro, back up and focus on your duties as a knight. I just don't feel like he's that great since he originally talked shit about the queen to the young prince :/
