Yes Kaneki ate the jaw, lips and the skin from the front of the neck. You can find a panel where hide shows this to Sasaki/Kaneki in tokyo ghoul re:. I think its somewhere between middle and ending .

What’s the point of drinking all that poison to hatch 2 eggs if she’s gunna have to loose all of her progress and hatch 2 more and go through this again. Her life basically depends on the power :/

And so?????????? The main point is she would have died then and there. She would have just DIED. He saved her from death. The butterflies would have eaten away from her and eventually, she’d die. He saved her from that. She’s alive now so that’s all that matters. And as said before, she can still hatch some more.

There is no “but” about this because if she died then there would be no chance to recover the butterflies or herself, right?

She's ready to die. In fact, she'd rather die than lose her leverage (her power). You can see that from the way her eyes looked. Even the ML acknowledged that she was ready to die.
That power was the one thing that could help her destroy the family. She worked for it her entire life. We understand this completely.
Losing that power is not an option

As I was saying she is internally injured to the point of dying so Cassis had no choice but to kiss her because since flower of hell is a reversed 19+ harem novel.. So the FL, cassis younger sis... Had this mysterious powers that could heal/purify someone, so he just pulled that power.. But he is better than younger sis..
But Cassis also knows how to read the atmosphere cause he stopped when Roxana is begging him to stop and he asked why she is going to the extent of literally poisoning herself...

For me.. It was dumb but also correct decision of Cassis cause when Roxana died.. Who will be incharge of handling him?? He knows Agriche is an insane house and if he let Roxana die... He might be the next one to be dead..

Her butterflies are perfectly fine.. I posted this one before.. But she produced way too much venomous butterflies that Cassis just killed some of them, not all... After that incident... The. Butterflies are weirdly wanting Cassis blood too but she feed them... And i think days after that.. She made most of the butterflies become scavenger/ killer butterflies that craves blood of anyone.. By feeding them blood of demons, and I think humans that are captured

She can survive. Period. Point blank. No need for further discussion. Story aside, she has plot armor. She’s not going to die. With or without the butterflies.

And that rank is an assurance?? Results are what get you there. Now imagine she let go of that power? Will her father be proud of her? OF COURSE NOT. But that's not her objective. She wants to be even more powerful and idk why your so mad. The ml is technically at fault bc Roxana rather dies than lose her power. We see that with the way the eyes were described.

But she had already announced it to her father. She announced that she has hatched them already. Imagine how GREAT OF A FAILURE SHE WILL BE IN ALL OF THEIR EYES if she went and hatched them and she got herself purified coz she couldn't manage the butterflies. Do you remember the secret exit Roxana knew?? It will be opened and she needs to ramp up the production of the butterflies.. And the secret exit she was mentioning was the door that lead to the northern border of which their monthly evaluation (Agriche's) will be held... And she led the Pedelian guards over there too...

Uhm.. In simple term... The door she mention was the door for their monthly exam.. The monthly exam is a few days after the kissing incident.. That is why she mentioned it only open at a specific period..

Ngl, i know what your saying, but I’m stickin to my opinion too, she just can’t loose the butterflies at this point. Sure she became rank 2 without them, but now it’s the butterflies that has given her more leverage for revenge on her family and favor with her father. If the male lead got rid of some of the butterflies, hell yea. But she can’t loose the butterflies no matter what. If she were to loose the butterflies, others view and respect for her might drop immensely as well as her father’s favor. Sure she could just “hide it”, but that family is too psychotic to be tricked that easily. Hiding the fact she lost an important power is a lot harder then hiding the fact she secretly hatched 1 egg already.
