Am I the only one who notices the art has like gone worse (not worse but you know) over the chapters :< I rlly like the art on the first chapter. It introduced the FL so well and now … some parts she has a massive forehead or little forehead with wide eyes. Idk I still like it tho but I wish they kept the art from the first chapter :<
I loved the beginning art, too! Now the men look like little boys wearing make-up and the women look like bobble head kewpie dolls. But I’m happy to see the last chapter the art had the emperor and empress looking much better. I didn’t even realize that was the emperor at first. I’m like….who’s this random guy she ran into, lol. That’s how drastic it was just from the previous chapter that had the emperor in it.
I KNOW. I still love it tho and support the author and illustrator with whatever they’re doing.
I could barely tell the difference between the FL sister and the antagonist but I guess now it’s more clear. Idk
I think the illustrater might have changed/ there were some changes in the illustration team in general and that’s why the art got kinda weird, or maybe just deadlines got tighter and thus the artwork „declined“ (i don’t think it’s bad or anything just a bit weird)

From the start.
In the prologue, when Eunha was waiting for the college result she got to talk to a stranger that pushed her in the building. That stranger was the goddess... the goddess wanted to send Eunha's soul to the novel to be Beatrice. In their talk Eunha said that she wished to be admitted to a university which happens when she receives a message. So the goddess remarks that since you've got your wish, it's my turn for my wish to come true and pushed Eunha... Her lasts words were GoodBye, Beatrice
The whole plot twist of the story is:
Enhua (the korean mc) was Beatrice in the first life (the events of the novel where Beatrice and Noah end up together) and when the goddess pushed Enhua, she was supposed to wake up in Beatrice's body. But because of the original raeliana meddling Euhua ended up in Rae's body and the original Rea soul went to beatrice. <Beatrice's soul I think at this point was put into Enhua’s earth body but like back in time??? I don’t know i'm sorry>
This could explain why Rae knows so many languages because she learned them when she went to theology school in her very first life as Beatrice. So with Enhua being Beatrice and going into Realiana’s body, Noah was bound to fall in love with her as she was the Main character the whole time.
Here I will be referring to Enhua/Realiana as MFC (main female character) & Original realiana/ Beatrice as OR (original realiana) so that hopefully there is no confusion since so many soul swaps and what not.
OR new that she would die young so her solution was to swap her soul/body to Beatrice’s so she could live happily married to the duke. MFC was supposed to die in Realiana’s body after the fiancé killed her, which would have secured Or’s position in Beatrice's body but since that didn’t happen OR thought if she killed MFC, it would be okay. She became the God daughter some guy and contacted vivian <idky she chose vivian> to help her plot against MFC.
OR with the help of an evil cult are trying to cast MFC’s soul out of realiana’s body and that's why the head priest aka grandpa notices that MFC’s soul is not properly attached to the body and certain spells didn't work and MFC faints a lot because of the unstability.
Somewhere along the storyline some stuff happens like:
OR setting a fire with MFC inside the building
Noah come up with a way to murder OR but fails cause OR outsmarts him.
OR tries to send Noah to the frontline in the pretense of war so that MFC becomes vulnerable without Noah but MFC outsmarts OR and something happens <not sure> and the war is done.
OR somehow gets a dark priestess involved <the part of the black priestess kind of confused me because the storyline of the spoilers is all messed up so I can’t even guess where this goes but it mentions how The black priestess stole beatrice's body from the MFC or OR idk and that’s why their bodies are unstable. The black priestess tries to stop this by warning MFC saying “you were destined to die” but obviously MFC refused death and changed her fate. Im so confused with this part im apologise. >
<Not sure on what the setting of this part is, some say it's vivian's wedding day some don't say> OR kills vivian and frames MFC. MFC ends up fainting because of the instability of MFC’s soul and Noah becomes protective and is literally thinking of becoming fugitives with MFC and will do anything to protect her <if only my bf was like Noah> People were starting to accuse and believe it was MFC who killed Vivian, especially the godfather. <the dude who took beatrice(OR) in and made her his goddaughter> The high priestess aka Grandpa comes in on time and uses his priestly magic to find the real culprit and it turns out to be OR. OR then kidnaps MFC in an attempt to kill her but MFC ends up killing OR <with a gun hehe>
<just to note, somewhere before MFC kills OR, MFC asks if OR knew about the fiance trying to kill her, then why not do something about it instead of swapping bodies? OR replies with “what should/could she have done? She was going to die being poisoned by her fiance” and MFC says “why not tell you mum or cancel engagement etc? And OR cries and says “it’s too late now..” and maybe that's when OR dies>
After OR’s death MFC was given a castle/mansion in the north as compensation for all the things OR did to her by the godfather which was his favourite place and so MFC and Noah decide to go on holiday/ vacation and on the train, the goddess comes and talks to both of them. She offers MFC to go back to her modern world since the story didn't go as the goddess planned but MFC refuses and says that she can't live without Noah. At the same time that's happening, the goddess is talking to Noah in another room, telling him about the offer and freaks out because of the way MFC would talk about her past life <he technically thinks that MFC is going to agree and is panicking> but after goddess tells noah about MFC’s answer he calms down. She gives him a book <idk what the book is> so that in his next life, Noah will be able to find MFC wherever she is and be in love. <awww>
Noah proposes to her by recreating a scene from her favourite love story she read. The novel ends with Noah looking back at MFC calling him and he realises that he fell in love with MFC the very moment he saw her and he thinks “i promise you in our next life we’ll also be together and i’ll be the one to find you”
The end.

Theres also side stories in the novel I believe one where Noah is in the Korea and has his memories of being Noah in his past life and I think he was provided by the goddess of some map to locate Raeliana(MFC) but Eunha(MFC) in that time did not have her memories as Rae(MFC) so she thinks that Noah is a handsome psycho/stalker cause Noah introduce himself like they were close, saying that he was her husband in their past life....
and there's another side story where Justin falls in love with Realiana and Noahs daughter or something like that but their love cannot be and is pretty sad so the goddess gives him a book and travels to another world where he can find his soul mate thus becoming the main character of his own book <aww>

This author's art style is so beautiful! This story is very bittersweet, compared to Wolf in the House, which is very happy and a little comic. The relationships in Momentum seem much more realistic and unpredictable.
There was an interview with Park Ji Yeon that I found really interesting- if anyone is interested, here is my (very much) shortened translation of it (sorry if I spell the names wrong..I haven't read the english version):
Q. The meaning behind the title?
A. Momentum is when a moving object hits something and changes direction (*I think she might have misunderstood the meaning of the word momentum, but I might be wrong). The characters in "Momentum" are each moving in their own direction, but then they meet people who change the direction they are moving in. They become involved with others who change their lives.
Q. If you could enter the world of "Momentum," which character would you like to be?
A. Of course, Misha. He gets so much inheritance, and his job is his hobby.
Q. If you had to choose a bf from "Momentum," who would it be?
A. My ideal bf would be Eric or Dio. Many people say their ideal is Teo, but personally I think Teo isn't very mature, has a lot of prejudices, and is too inflexible.
Q. Where did you get info about SM?
A. Magazines. Also I saw Irene Adler from the drama, "Sherlock," and with her in mind, I searched online. There are English websites advertising dominatrix services with very detailed information.
Q. It seems "Momentum" does not adhere to common cliches in the bl genre. For example, treating the uke as feminine, or the uke being embarrassed or ashamed of being on bottom.
A. Yes, there has been that kind of trend in bl. But now times have changed, and the world of homosexual relationships is no longer taboo. My aim was to describe romance between two individuals while drawing erotic homosexual scenes. I didn't want to waste time on exploring the question of how a man comes to love a man. There is so much more in what comes *after* they meet, and the dynamics and tension within a relationship. In "Momentum" there's no dilemma of "Should I date him or not?" Other romances follow the pattern of "dragging out a love/hate relationship and finally they become an official couple."
Q. Is there a reason why most of the stories are set in foreign countries?
A. Actually, that wasn't the original plan; originally, I was going to make only "Take 8" take place outside of Korea. During the scenario phase, we changed more and more scenes to take place in foreign countries, and eventually I just decided not to set it in Korea at all.
Q. In "Phantom" I could sense your interest in F1. It was also the longest story.
A. I am very interested in racing. I worked with the Grand Prix Korea for a year, and was able to see close-up what goes on.
Q. What kind of work did you do during that year?
A. I worked with the PR team to make the drawings on the cars. I saw the car being put together, and was able to see how the racers live.
Q. Japanese fanfic and Western fanfic have very different writing styles. I think this is due to the different types of works the creators look to for inspiration. I am curious as to what works you looked at for inspiration when writing "Momentum."
A. There wasn't any one work that made me think "This is it!" But I like romance movies. I especially like "Atonement," "Engagement," and "The English Patient." The way these movies depict romance is similar to the romance in "Momentum."
In Korean dramas, two characters meet through a trivial incident, bicker (push and pull), and finally begin a serious relationship. I believe this kind of relationship isn't possible once you're in your thirties. My target age group for readers of "Momentum" was higher than the usual target age group in bl. I have watched a lot of Western movies revolving around the relationships that older people have, and I wonder if that has influenced my writing.
Q. "M's Study" seems to have been influenced by the works of Woody Allen.
A. That's correct. I got my inspiration from "Vicky Cristina Barcelona."
Q. Readers seem to either love or hate "M's Study." There are quite a lot of people who didn't like the story.
A. In bl we often see the ideal romance, where two people love each other, and no-one and nothing can disrupt their relationship. Even if one of them behaves wrongly, the other must love him unconditionally. In "M's Study" I wanted to eliminate that certainty. No matter how long two people have had a relationship, the stability can be threatened at any time, and a lover can easily become a stranger. There was a lot of opposition to my portrayal of such a relationship. The thing readers find hardest to accept is that the characters' feelings change.
Q. Did you expect this kind of reaction?
A. I did, because this is quite different from the typical love triangle where one competitor clearly loses.
Q. Even if the characters were changed to male/female couples, there would be no awkardness in the script.
A. In reality also, I don't think there is a difference in the interactions within m/m versus m/f relationships.
Q. It feels like female characters were put into "Phantom" to make up for the lack of female characters in "Momentum" overall.
A. That's correct. I felt that more female characters were needed. Ultimately, because this is bl, I couldn't place a female in the position of main character.

It makes me think of the glamour and style of the 40's, so I get thrown a bit when a character pulls out a cell phone. Everyone here is an adult with history, baggage, a raw heart, and doing the best they can. Love it
Ranting bc I had left this to marinate for SO LONG even after seeing so many tiktoks about it I’m so disappointed. I just have to let my feelings out.
1. I was rooting for Micheal so dam hard for the sister. I’m glad they sorted out their feelings or what not but imagine waiting for someone for that long and you get dismissed but I understand feelings do change and idk I guess Cedric is nice. He’s ok.
2. I honestly didn’t really like lili’s character as a child. I felt like for an adult to go into a child’s body like her character was too “child like.” And I feel like they just put some parts in like “does going into a child’s body make you more childish” to be like “hey guys remember she came into this world and she was actually an adult like a few months ago” to the readers.
3. I feel like she manipulated Eiden/ Aiden into liking her as he seemed kind of neutral at the start but after the whole kiss scene in the library she kind of gave him hope. I do understand his personality got revealed later on to kind of be like Micheal’s with the whole “cunning” type thing but like sis. He was literally a child and she took advantage of that.
4. I WAS ROOTING FOR THE PRINCE SO HARD LIKE WTF HAS JOSH DONE FOR HER BESIDES “stay by her side” AND SHES NOW UR FAMILY LIKE ???? YOUR UNCLE IS MARRIED TO HER SISTER AND SO THAT MAKES HER UR AUNTIE TOO. LIKE HELLOOO?
5. The whole “stay by her side” ???? White hairs boy was there too? Like yeah not as a love interest but like he was still there ?? How dare you just dismiss him like that. Poor Luke (was that his name?)
I get the whole harem trope in this and I really appreciate Luke for just being on the side. I’m kind of sad Eiden/ Aiden (in my eyes) got manipulated into liking her cause I feel like he would’ve been a nice character just being on the side who does his own things and reads his books. OR JOSH COULDVE BEEN COMPLETELY LET OUT OF THIS AND IT WOULDVE BEEN THE COUSINS FIGHTING OVER HER. LIKE WTF JOSH BARELY DID SH** BESIDES “stay by her side”
