I just read a few chapters of the novel
And let me tell ya ..it has more story direction from the MC's perspective, decent amount of details needed to story (can't tell much ab other things cause I Google translated version of the raws)
The manhwa on the other hand lacks in a lot of ways...the story feels rushed cause it actually is, we don't get into the details of practically anything we are just being brushed over everything that is happening we not getting into it ...
this might be the reason why this feels like a lousy manhua

All The characters have like 1 emotion and have the same boring facial expression. The chemistry between the couple was not the best and this whole story made me depressed.

I totally agree, apparently ppl said the characters in the novel had amazing chemistry but I think choices taken for the comic adaptation made them so stiff and emotionless, I feel like it started out good but them the more the story progressed the worse the expressivness got
100% novels usually give the couple an amazing chemistry and some adaptions can show that really good (for example Don’t mess with the puppy or alpha trauma) but this one just feels so boring/dry(also it got really cringe sometimes)
