Absolutely with you... I understand the whole getting stronger plot and there are shonen mangas where there're more losses than wins - but this manga really shouldn't end like this. They made it so epic that it's really hateful when Shioon isn't that epic...

But the storyline was abit messy in The Breaker New Waves so i guess they should just take their time and improve the plot (and shioons epicness XD).
(Ich hab auch schon die ersten 5 Bände. Ich bin im Laden schon fast Dreiecke gehüpft, weil ich nicht davon wusste, dass sie übersetzt werden. Im Moment spare ich auf die New Wave Mangas. Da sie die Bände zusammengefasst haben sind die ja so teuer -.-;; Die kann man sich nicht einfach mal kaufen D':)
I didn't know I needed some mountain climbing manga in my life but apparently I did.
The art is really beautiful and conveys the plot and it's raw emotions very well.
Phew, now that I finished it...it's a hell of a ride. (@. @" ) But nevertheless definitely a manga worth re-reading.

I really love the whole action, material arts genre and from the comments it seems to be a really good plot and all... but I don't know... every single one of those characters annoy the heck out of me. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
Can't seem to get past chapter 11 although I want to know how the story and characters develop.
Trust me. It gets a lot better. The characters annoyed me too at first. When you see how they change, you'll feel like all those hours spent reading were worth it. And if you liked Holyland then I think you've come to the right place. But there are differences between Holyland and the Breaker that might turn you off, so just thought I'd mention that. Anyways, if you're on chapter 11 you'll be reaching a turning point in the manga after a couple more chapters (sorry I'm not sure exactly which chapter this turning point is) but everything, and I mean everything, gets way more intense.
So it will get better, haha? I'll give it another shot then.
Just have to ignore the female characters, they irritate me the most. #－.－)
