And it still manages to have the right amount of angst that comes with unrequited feelings. Would've loved to see "aggressive seme" Saito in action though. (●￣(ｴ)￣●) His i'm-gonna-ravish-you-till-morning-face was so promising!
Especially the part of Kanou saying Ayase wouldn't be treated as a human being, If he were to be resold to that SM Club since he (Kanou) basically treats Ayase like a living sex doll that should just quietly obey his every wish. I thought maybe Kanou would become more doting but all the way to volume 9 he's just acting like a jerk.
At the same time I thought Ayase might have a hidden spiteful side to contrast his harmless appearance but that hope was crushed in the first chapters. He pretty much succumbed to Kanou right from the start and let himself be treated like a sex toy. As a result the plot was quite frustrating and boring, doesn't seem like there will be any character development.
The title and the tags are misleading but it was a cute story about awkward first love, confusion about sexuality and lacking self confidence.
Aaaargh can't wait to see it.
