Ok so if you haven’t read the full thing yet i recommend you keep reading cuz the story unfolds and how they know eo is revealed but if you want spoilers anyway i can give them.
The shortened version of how they know eo is that Damon’s an artist and Colton’s a gallery director who saw damon before at an exhibition which is why he knew that the man Damon sent as his representative to sign a contract wasn’t Damon himself. The story can be a bit confusing but everything ties together later.

I’m more than halfway through the story and I do NOT get the hype around this, “the character development!” “The new ml is so sweet!” Did we read the same book??? The story is genuinely boring and gives the reader no reason to want to see how it turns out besides “hmm I wonder if he’ll get abused again!” Like oh my god so much but so little has happened to the point that I’m bored when they threaten to kill them selves AGAIN for the 20th time. I get it, the ML has “changed” but that doesn’t disregard the fact he’s still a complete asshole. Just because he’s slightly better than literal satan does not make him a good character. what if because everyone kept dying over and over they look dead and then if they keep dying, by the end of this series they'll look like a skeleton
