The story seemed aware? Idk if that's the right way to put it during mc dialogue during ch 4-5 I thought it'd get better bc of that but that apparently was wishful thinking, it's now falling into cliches which is pissing me off

I hope the ml ends up with the fiancee I think it's messed up to steal someone's happiness because you were unable to do anything, sure it's sad, but would you really be happy knowing you took someone's life for your happiness? personally it'd haunt me
Not to spoil anything, but by the end, you won't be shipping him with the fiancee. It's all in context. On one hand, I do get the iffy feeling of taking advantage of something like this but I do like how the story unfolds.

Fiancee was ML's sister's very devoted boyfriend. She died. They trauma bonded, fell in love and eventually got engaged. She's alive and will live by end of story so of course fiancee is so madly in love with her still. I don't remember if she's a twin though but the siblings are very close.
